Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk in Saturday's 6-5 victory over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Machado's eighth blast of the campaign gave the Orioles a four-run lead in the fourth inning of a winning effort. Despite getting off to a slow start with a .234 batting average, he's still an elite fantasy option, and owners can expect the batting average to improve as the season progresses.

Machado went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run, his third blast of the Red Sox series, in Thursday's 8-3 win.
EDGE Analysis
Machado's fourth-inning homer made him the first Orioles player with three bombs in a series at Fenway since B.J. Surhoff did it in 1998, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports. The third baseman wrapped up the controversial week in Boston with four hits, six RBI and four runs. Machado is clearly beginning to heat up after a slow start to the season.

Machado wen 1-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs in Monday's victory in Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Machado's sixth-inning blast off last year's AL Cy Young winner, Rick Porcello, was the third baseman's fifth long ball of the season. His big night also bumped Machado into second on the team for RBI (15) and runs (12). After a slow start, the All-Star has warmed up, slashing .304/.467/.652 over his last six games.

Machado wrapped up the opening month of the season slashing .224/.343/.424 with four home runs, 13 RBI and 10 runs over 85 at-bats.
EDGE Analysis
The slugger fell way short of last April's .344/.394/.667 line. In many regards, Machado's first month of 2017 was worse than any other in his career. That said, he began showing signs of life as April waned away. In his last four games, the 24-year-old went 6-for-16 with a home run, two doubles, three RBI and five runs. He's also reached base safely in 11 consecutive contests. It's a safe bet to assume May will provide more Machado-like numbers.

Machado went 3-for-5 with a walk, a double, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in FFriday's 14-11 extra-inning loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
It was only a matter of time until Machado busted out of his early-season funk, and right on cue he's now slashing .333/.438/.630 over his last seven games with two homers and five RBI.

Machado went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in Sunday's loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Slowly but surely, Machado is warming up after a miserable 7-for-44 (.159) start. The third baseman has put together a modest, yet encouraging, five-game hitting streak to bump his average above the Mendoza Line. Considering the All-Star is typically quick out of the gate, Machado's slow start to the 2017 campaign is a bit disconcerting for his overall projections. He's got a few advantageous matchups on tap for this week against the Rays and Yankees, so the opportunity exists to kick his season into high gear.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Friday's 2-0 victory over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Machado's third bomb of the season provided the Orioles with their second and final run in a shutout victory. Although the slugger is hitting just .200 this month, it's just a matter of time before he turns things around in a hurry and becomes one of the elite producers in all of baseball.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a three-run blast, his first of the season, in Friday's 6-5 win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Machado's first big fly gave the 24-year-old his first RBI and run scored of the young campaign. He also struck out three times, something the third baseman did just four times all of last season.

Machado rolled his left wrist making a stellar defensive play in Monday's season opener over the Blue Jays, but manager Buck Showalter expects him to be fine, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Machada finished the 11-inning contest and went 1-for-4 with a walk. Although Machado had a "good raspberry" according to the Baltimore Sun's Jon Meoli, it isn't expected to be anything serious. Especially considering Baltimore has an off day Tuesday, expect Machado to be right back in the lineup for Baltimore's next game Wednesday as the series against Toronto continues.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday's WBC victory over Team USA.
EDGE Analysis
Down 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Machado kick-started the Dominican Republic's 7-5 comeback win with a deep fly off Nationals' right-hander Tanner Roark. Machado was just 3-for-18 (.167) over seven Grapefruit League contests before leaving for the WBC. However, the All-Star third baseman has found his stroke on the world stage, going 4-for-9 with a homer and pair of runs scored through the team's first two games.
