Perdomo tossed six innings of one-run ball Thursday. He walked two and struck out five in an extra-inning loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Perdomo was in rare form Thursday, relying on his heavy sinker to induce nine groundballs against an aggressive Rockies lineup. He got through six innings with just 90 pitches, and he likely would have come out for the seventh if his spot in the lineup didn't come up in the bottom of the sixth of a tight game. After struggling in his first start of the season and landing on the disabled list with a shoulder injury, the 23-year-old has posted a 2.65 ERA with a 3.0 K/BB ratio in three starts since his return. The youngster is still raw and will take his bumps on the mound this season, but the combination of velocity and movement on his fastball will generate some solid pitching lines for deep-league owners in the right matchups.

Perdomo went six innings Friday, giving up three runs (one earned) while striking out five against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old turned in his best performance of the season Friday, notching his first quality start despite not factoring into the decision. He used his sinker and slider to attack the Giants early and often, throwing 50 of his 69 pitches for strikes. He was pulled after the sixth because manager Andy Green felt his starter struggled against the top of San Francisco's lineup, which was due to bat in the seventh. Despite the early exit, Perdomo proved that he has fully healed from the shoulder injury he suffered earlier this month. His next scheduled start against the Rockies next Thursday won't be as cushy as Friday's matchup against the struggling Giants, but it does come at home, keeping the righty in the conversation as a deep-league or NL-only option.

Perdomo (shoulder) returned from the disabled list Sunday, giving up three runs over five innings. He walked three and struck out five in a 7-3 loss to Miami.
EDGE Analysis
The 23-year-old cruised through five innings before unraveling in the sixth, failing to record an out and getting charged with three runs. The positive news for Perdomo was that his arm appeared to be fine after missing time with shoulder inflammation. His sinker had its regular life on it, and he used his slider effectively to retire Marlins hitters. Perdomo's next start is scheduled for Friday against the Giants, a matchup that looks favorable on paper.

Perdomo (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day disabled list and will start Sunday's game against the Marlins, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Perdomo had been sidelined just over two weeks with the shoulder inflammation, but the Padres felt comfortable enough signing off on his return to the rotation without sending him to the minors for a rehab assignment. With that in mind, it's not expected that he'll face any strict limitations in his return to the hill Sunday, making him a safe activation for those in NL-only leagues who had been counting on him.

Perdomo (shoulder) is scheduled to start Sunday against the Marlins, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
There had been hope that Perdomo would be available to pitch Sunday, and it appears that will be the case. It was reported that Perdomo is no longer experiencing shoulder inflammation and is back in full health. Perdomo has made one start this season, and it wasn't his greatest effort. Over 5.1 innings he gave up five runs off seven hits and a walk.

Perdomo (shoulder) could start Sunday against the Marlins, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Perdomo worked through an aggressive 50-pitch bullpen session with no issues Wednesday, putting him in a good position to start Sunday for the injured Jarred Cosart (hamstring). "It went really well, arm felt good," manager Andy Green said of the session Wednesday afternoon. "No real reservations at this point in time. I'm kind of leaning toward (Perdomo) making the start that Cosart leaves available. We'll wait and see how he feels tomorrow before making any formal declarations about that. We feel he'll be back in the rotation soon." Even if the Padres decide to go with another starter for Sunday, it appears Perdomo is set return to the Padres' rotation relatively soon.

Perdomo (shoulder) is scheduled to throw an extended bullpen session Wednesday, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Perdomo hasn't thrown since being placed on the disabled list on April 11 with shoulder inflammation. An update on his condition should become available following his bullpen session Wednesday.

Perdomo (shoulder) will try to regain mobility over the next few days in the hope he can resume throwing this weekend, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander experienced inflammation following his season debut last week and it was deemed serious enough to warrant a trip to the disabled list. It doesn't appear that Perdomo will miss too much time if his recovery goes according to schedule, but Jarred Cosart and Zach Lee will retain rotation spots for the time being.

Perdomo was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with posterior shoulder inflammation, Dennis Lin or the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though no news was previously reported on this front, it appears that Perdomo experienced some shoulder inflammation following his 5.1 inning start against the Giants on Friday. He was expected to start Wednesday against the Rockies, but the recently-promoted Zach Lee will start in his place. It's currently unclear how much time Perdomo will miss with this shoulder inflammation, but more information should hopefully become available in the coming days.

Perdomo (0-0) allowed five runs and seven hits and one walk while striking out three over 5.1 innings, but received no decision Friday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Perdomo had a 4-1 lead going into the sixth inning, but after giving up a grand slam to Brandon Belt, the lead was gone, and he was fortunate the Padres offense came back with three runs to take him off the hook for a loss. After posting a 5.71 ERA to go with the 1.59 WHIP as a rookie last year, he'll need a stretch of good starts before being considered much of a fantasy option. However, the youngster can bring some serious heat, and based on some of his late-season appearances, he has plenty of potential. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Rockies.
