Perdomo (2-4) walked five but gave up just two hits and struck out six over six shutout innings in a win Friday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Perdomo is on a roll, with three quality starts in a row dating back to June 12 against Cincinnati. Six strikeouts matches his best total since May 26 against the Nationals, and he needed them to keep his five walks, a season high, from biting him. Still, last year's Rule 5 draft pick is starting to find his form, as he has his ERA down to 4.56.

Perdomo will be moved up a spot in the rotation to pitch against the Tigers on Friday instead of Saturday, according to AJ Cassavell of MLB.com.
EDGE Analysis
The move was likely made to line up Dinelson Lamet for extra rest once the All-Star break hits. The swap doesn't change the opponent for either pitcher, so Perdomo's owners should simply adjust their rotations accordingly.

Perdomo (1-4) took the loss Sunday against the Brewers, giving up two runs on eight hits. He walked two and struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
It was a hard-luck loss for Perdomo, who pitched well but was outdueled by Jimmy Nelson and his one-run, complete game. Solo home runs from Manny Pina and Hernan Perez, both of which came in the sixth inning, were the only real mistakes Perdomo made, but it was enough to cost him and San Diego the game. The right-hander has pitched well in his last two starts, though, allowing five runs over 12.2 innings.

Perdomo (1-3) gave up three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over 6.2 innings in Monday's win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The strong performance coupled with a Bronson Arroyo blowup on the other side put Perdomo in the win column for the first time all season. Perdomo's surface numbers don't look good, but he's turned in three quality starts in his last four outings, and the underlying statistics are encouraging. An extremely high groundball rate -- which would rank second among qualified starters if he had the innings to qualify -- helps make up for a middling K-rate.

Perdomo (0-3) allowed five runs on five hits and four walks while striking out just a single batter over 4.0 innings during Wednesday's loss to Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
There have been a few solid outings for Perdomo this season, but with a 5.47 ERA and 1.44 WHIP his fantasy value is limited, and he's obviously difficult to trust. The 24-year-old right has limited right-handed hitters to a .711 OPS and .310 wOBA, but lefties have posted .882 and .375 marks against him, so until Perdomo can prove capable of holding left-handed hitters in check, his struggles will probably continue. Perdomo projects to face Cincinnati in his next start.

Perdomo (0-2) held the Cubs to one run on three hits and two walks over seven innings while striking out four but came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 2-1 win.
EDGE Analysis
He now has five quality starts in his last six trips to the mound, but the Padres' woeful offense has given him little support and Perdomo remains winless on the season. He'll get a couple extra days rest before his next start, but he may need it as he faces the Diamondbacks on the road next Wednesday.

Perdomo (0-2) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six across six innings to take the loss Friday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Perdomo allowed all three of his runs on a pair of homers while the offense was unable to do much damage against Nationals ace Max Scherzer. A horrible performance in his last outing inflated his ERA, but he's fired five quality starts in his last six games, making his 5.61 ERA a bit misleading. Overall, he's an adequate option in most fantasy leagues. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Cubs.

Perdomo (0-1) only lasted three innings Saturday, serving up eight runs on 11 hits in a loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
It was a tough matchup for the 24-year-old, but he failed to give his team a fighting chance after surrendering seven runs through the first two frames. It appeared that Perdomo was making some strides through the first month and a half of the season, but Saturday's ugly outing ballooned his averages (5.79 ERA and 1.50 WHIP) to marks close to last year's poor results. The hard-throwing righty has made noticeable strides in his peripherals (8.7 K/9, 0.7 HR/9 and 5.1 GB/FB), so there is still hope that he could eventually turn into a usable fantasy arm, but that time is clearly not the present.

Perdomo allowed three runs on five hits (one homer) while walking none and striking out nine over six innings for a no-decision in Monday's 6-5 extra-innings win over Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
That's now six straight no-decisions for Perdomo to begin the year, which is a San Diego record. He also contributed on offense, going 2-for-2 with a double, triple, RBI and run scored. His nine punchouts Monday were a career high. Since a five-run outing in his opening start April 7, Perdomo has been quite serviceable, not allowing more than three earned runs in any of his other five starts. The 24-year-old will look to make it five straight quality starts his next time out.

Perdomo (0-0) allowed three runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings but came away with a no-decision in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Despite turning in three straight quality starts, Perdomo is still looking for his first decision of the season as the Padres' offense and bullpen have struggled to provide him with much support. He'll make his next trip to the mound Monday at home against the Brewers.
