Mets recalled OF Lucas Duda from Triple-A Las Vegas.
Duda hasn't appeared with the Mets since June 21, but is finally healthy after missing six weeks with an intercostal strain and batting .306/.423/.355 over 18 games in the minors. He should return to a platoon role and see semi-regular starts at left field and first base.

Mets activated OF Lucas Duda from the 15-day disabled list; optioned him to Triple-A Las Vegas.
Duda is recovered from the strained intercostal muscle that he suffered back in June but the Mets apparently aren't ready to welcome him back. The 27-year-old outfielder will continue to work on his timing in Vegas. He had a decent .791 OPS and 11 home runs in 68 games this season for New York before hitting the disabled list.

Mets placed OF Lucas Duda on the 15-day disabled list with a left intercostal strain.
An MRI Saturday revealed the strain. Despite the thought that a hot Ike Davis would be recalled in his place, the Mets decided to let the first baseman see some more time at Triple-A. The team recalled third baseman Zach Lutz from Triple-A Las Vegas to take Duda's place.

Lucas Duda will undergo an MRI on his left side Saturday.
The MRI will determine the extent of the damage, but it's very possible that Duda is dealing with an oblique injury. If he needs to be placed on the disabled list, Ike Davis will likely be recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas.
