Duda (elbow) is expected to come off the DL on Friday after completing his minor-league rehab assignment, Mike Puma of The New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
T.J. Rivera has been one of the Mets' best hitters recently so Duda may not immediately re-enter the starting lineup, but at least the team's injury-ravaged roster is getting healthier. Duda had a .238/.360/.571 slash line in 13 games prior to getting injured.

Mets' manager Terry Collins says he hopes to have Duda (elbow) for the upcoming weekend series against the Brewers, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda, out since April with a hyperextended left elbow, has made three consecutive starts with High-A St. Lucie and appears ready to return to regular action. The power-hitting first baseman got off to a nice start on the season by blasting four home runs, so he should be guaranteed a starting spot upon his return. The interesting question will be what the Mets do with T.J. Rivera, who has hit .309 since taking over as Duda's temporary replacement.

Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said Sunday that he hopes Duda (elbow) will be ready to rejoin the team in a week or so, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda continues to do some rehab work in extended spring training and it sounds like he's nearing his return to the big-league club. Though Alderson did not give an exact return date, the roughly one-week timetable is an encouraging sign.

Duda (elbow) will receive some at bats this weekend at extended spring training before resuming his rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas early next week, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda had a setback last weekend in his return from a hyperextended left elbow but now seems to be back on track. He took dry swings Tuesday and now will get at-bats in "game" action. T.J. Rivera and, to a lesser extent, Wilmer Flores are filling in for Duda, who should regain his starting spot once he returns to the majors.

Duda (elbow) took dry swings Tuesday as he resumes his recovery process from a hyperextended elbow, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
After experiencing a setback over the weekend, it seems that the slugger is back on track with his rehab. It's unclear how soon the Mets will push him back into rehab games, but more details about their plans should become clearer in the coming days.

Duda (elbow) felt a "twinge" in his injured left elbow during a rehab game Friday and will be shut down until Tuesday, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
After hyperextending his left elbow on April 19 and being placed on the disabled list April 21, Duda only expected to be sidelined for the minimum 10-day DL stint. Friday's setback will delay his return and it now appears that the 31-year-old may not be back with the Mets until late first week of May at the earliest.

Duda (elbow) will not come off of the disabled list Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda has been on the disabled list since hyperextending his left elbow on April 21. The first baseman is eligible to come off of the DL on Monday, but manager Terry Collins says that the 31-year-old will not be activated at that time. It's unclear what has caused the setback, but Duda has missed two straight rehab games. Additional news regarding his status should become available in the coming days.

Duda (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment Friday, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda said earlier this week that he will likely return to the Mets' lineup when he becomes eligible Sunday, so this appears to be the final step in the recovery process. The lefty has been out with a hyper-extended elbow, but will provide a much-needed source of offense to a roster crippled by injuries. Duda was off to a steady start in his first 13 games as well, slashing .238/.360/.571 with four home runs and seven RBI, and should immediately regain his everyday role at first base.

Duda (elbow) said Sunday that he believes he will return from the DL once eligible, Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duda did add that he still needs to regain full range of motion in his elbow, but it sounds like he has little doubt he will do so before the end of April. His DL move was made retroactive to April 20, meaning he's eligible to return as soon as April 30. Duda isn't hitting at a high clip early on this season, but he's getting on base regularly and already has four homers in 42 at-bats.

Duda has been placed on the 10-day DL with a hyperextended elbow.
EDGE Analysis
Duda has been dealing with the ailment since colliding with Cesar Hernandez during Wednesday's game against the Phillies and subsequent tests appear to have confirmed the extent. The first baseman is hitting .238 this season with four home runs and a .931 OPS, but he'll be out for a couple of weeks. Jay Bruce will likely receive the lion's share of starts at first base, though T.J. Rivera could see some chances as well.
