Webb (10-5) earned the victory Sunday in Oakland, striking out five in seven innings while allowing two runs on four hits, three walks and a hit batsman.
EDGE Analysis
Webb did not allow a hit until the fifth inning when Vimael Machin led off with a double and later came around to score. The 25-year-old righty recorded 11 groundouts and completed the seven frames with 97 pitches thrown. In his previous two starts, he allowed a combined 10 runs in 10.1 innings and Sunday's start was a step back in the right direction. For the season, his 3.17 ERA and 1.15 WHIP are very much in line with the 3.03 ERA and 1.11 WHIP he produced last season. His next start will likely be next weekend against Pittsburgh.

Webb (9-5) allowed six runs on eight hits, a walk and a hit batsman while striking out just two in five innings as he took the loss versus the Dodgers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Webb had a run of eight straight quality starts in June and July, but his last two outings have been less than impressive. He gave up a two-run home run to Max Muncy in the second inning and then let the Dodgers cobble together a three-run rally in the third. He was also tagged for one more run in the fifth. The six runs allowed were a season high for Webb, who now has a 3.20 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 110:34 K:BB through 135 innings in 22 starts. The good news is that outings like this have been rare for the right-hander, who is projected for a much more favorable road start in Oakland this weekend.

Webb (9-4) was tagged with the loss against Arizona on Wednesday, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out five batters.
EDGE Analysis
Webb entered the seventh inning with the scored tied 2-2, but he gave up consecutive singles to start the frame. Both of those runners were cashed in one batter later, sending Webb to the showers and saddling him with his fourth loss. The right-hander had given up four combined runs over 26 innings across his previous four starts entering Wednesday, so the unhappy outcome against Arizona was far from the norm in terms of his recent performances.

Webb allowed a run on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts in six innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The four walks were a season high for Webb, who was able to navigate the danger fairly well. He threw 63 of 103 pitches for strikes, though his control was not as sharp as usual. The right-hander still picked up his eighth straight quality start while lowering his ERA to 2.77 with a 1.12 WHIP and 103:32 K:BB across 123.2 innings in 20 starts. He's projected for a road start in Arizona next week.

Webb (9-3) earned the win during Sunday's 9-5 victory over Milwaukee, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts in six plus innings.
EDGE Analysis
Webb shut down Milwaukee's offense following a Willy Adames solo home run in the first inning and cruised to an easy win on an efficient 88 pitches. The 25-year-old has now delivered seven straight quality starts -- during which he's pitched to a 1.37 ERA across 46 innings -- and ranks fourth in the league with 14 quality starts on the season. Webb wraps up the first half with a 2.83 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with 101 strikeouts in 117.2 innings across 19 starts.

Webb (8-3) allowed five hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in six shutout innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Webb has allowed one or zero runs in five of his last six starts, and he's gone at least six innings in each of those contests. The right-hander had all the support he needed after the first inning as he continues to get back on a dominant track. He owns a 2.82 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 96:26 K:BB through 111.2 innings in 18 starts overall. Webb is on track for a home start versus the Brewers this weekend.

Webb allowed a run on six hits and a walk while striking out two in eight innings in a 2-1 extra-inning loss Thursday in San Diego. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was efficient and around the zone all night, throwing 70 of his 103 pitches for strikes. The lone mark against him came in the fourth inning when Manny Machado hit a solo homer. While he is fanning fewer batters this season, Webb's 2.98 ERA and 1.11 WHIP are nearly identical to his 3.03 ERA and 1.11 WHIP last season. His next start will likely be early next week against Arizona.

Webb (7-3) took the loss during Saturday's 5-3 defeat at the hands of the White Sox, allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Webb began Saturday's start with three perfect innings but encountered trouble in the fourth and sixth, when he surrendered all but one of his baserunners and all five runs scored with the help of two errors. The 25-year-old fired 67 of 101 pitches for strikes with 14 of the swinging variety and is averaging over 103 pitches with 8.5 K/9 across his last five starts compared to just over 90 pitches and 7.6 K/9 in his first 11 turns. Webb is set to face off against San Diego in his next start, projected for midweek.

Webb (7-2) allowed an unearned run on two hits, two walks and a hit batter with six strikeouts in six innings, earning the win versus the Reds on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was just average for much of May and into June, but he's rediscovered the form that made him look like a staff ace in the latter half of 2021. Over his last three starts, he's covered 20 innings while allowing two runs (one earned), 13 hits and five walks while striking out 22. The right-hander now has a 3.04 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 81:22 K:BB across 91.2 innings in 15 starts overall. He'll look to keep rolling in a projected home start versus the White Sox next weekend.

Webb completed seven innings against Atlanta on Monday, allowing one run on six hits and no walks while striking out seven. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Webb allowed a second-inning Travis d'Arnaud solo home run but did not surrender any additional runs for the remainder of his outing. He didn't get much run support, however, and was in line for the loss until the Giants scored their only run in the eighth frame. Webb finished with his second straight quality start and has posted a 16:3 K:BB while yielding only one run across 14 innings over that span. He has posted a 3.26 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 75:20 K:BB while recording a 6-2 record over 85.2 innings on the season.
