Webb has delivered five quality starts in eight appearances this season, resulting in a 2.61 ERA over 48.1 innings. He's struck out at least six batters in four straight starts and is now sporting a 56:13 K:BB. Webb is lined up to start in Minnesota next weekend.

Other than escaping a bases-loaded jam in the second inning, Webb didn't face very much trouble from Milwaukee. He scattered six singles and threw a season-high 106 pitches, also tossing at least six innings for the fourth time in his last five starts. The star right-hander holds a sparkling 1.80 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 33:4 K:BB over 25 frames in the month of April, but he'll encounter a tough test in his next scheduled outing on the road against the Padres.

Webb (2-1) took the loss Friday as the Giants were blanked 2-0 by the Angels, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits over six innings. He struck out 12 without walking a batter.

A rare Matt Chapman error at third base contributed to a two-run second inning for the Halos, and that was all the offense either pitching staff allowed. He generated 12 whiffs on 97 pitches but also found the strike zone on just 57 of them, tallying a season-high four walks. On the year, the 28-year-old has posted a strong 2.63 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB across 24 innings. He's slated for a road matchup with the Angels next weekend.

Webb faced the minimum number of batters through three innings Tuesday, but Jose Altuve took him deep to lead off the fourth frame. It was an otherwise excellent outing on the road by Webb, who tossed 100 pitches and induced three double plays to keep Houston's bats in check. On tap for the star right-hander is a matchup at home against the Reds, which tentatively lines up for early next week.

Webb showed signs of rust in his season debut -- the right-hander had to contend with traffic throughout the start, eventually conceding three runs on a pair of Jeimer Candelario base hits. The 28-year-old Webb will look for better results in his next outing, currently lined up for next week against Seattle. Webb went 13-10 with a 3.47 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 172 strikeouts at the front of San Francisco's rotation last season.

Webb navigated around trouble in the early going, giving up an RBI double in the second inning and a two-run homer in the third, but he still managed to come away with the win and had his swing and miss stuff working.
