Webb tossed five innings, giving up one unearned run on four hits and two walks while striking out six in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Webb allowed his only run in the third frame after an error by LaMonte Wade prolonged the inning. He had struggled a little bit in his last four starts giving up 14 runs in 24 innings, but Tuesday was his 17th start of the year in which he gave up two or less runs. Webb is expected to start Sunday's regular season finale against the Padres.

Webb lasted only four innings Thursday against the Padres, allowing four runs on four hits and two walks in a no-decision. He had three strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Webb gave up all four of his runs in the first inning, hitting a batter and allowing three hits, two walks and a sacrifice fly in the frame. He was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the top of the fifth with his pitch count already at 78, just 44 of them strikes. Webb, who is 10-3 on the year with a 3.04 ERA and 144:34 K:BB in 136.1 innings, draws a favorable home matchup with the Diamondbacks next Tuesday.

Webb didn't factor into the decision Friday against Atlanta after tossing seven innings of two-run ball, allowing six hits and striking out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Friday's outing was Webb's 10th quality start out of his last 11 appearances, and he continues to be a steady presence at the top of the rotation for San Francisco. Webb owns an excellent 2.20 ERA with a 0.99 WHIP, 9.8 K/9 and 1.4 BB/9 through 10 games since the beginning of August.

Webb (10-3) earned the win Sunday against the Cubs after allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks while fanning five across six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Webb hasn't lost a game since May 5 and has been a very consistent arm for the Giants. In fact, this was the first time he gave up more than three earned runs since early that outing against the Rockies, where he allowed six runs across 3.2 innings at Coors Field. His numbers have been nothing short of outstanding since the All-Star break, as he has gone 6-0 with a 2.21 ERA across 73.1 innings (12 starts) since then.

Webb (9-3) picked up a win tossing seven innings while giving up three runs on nine hits and striking out six against the Rockies on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old worked through a ton of traffic on the bases Tuesday but he was able to limit the damage to only three runs. CJ Cron drove in a run with a double in the fourth inning and the final two runs against him came around to score in the seventh inning on a Joshua Fuentes single. Webb has now logged nine consecutive quality starts while posting 1.70 ERA and a 5-0 record. He will look to make it an even 10 consecutive in his next start Sunday against the Cubs in Chicago.

Webb completed seven innings in a no-decision Thursday against Milwaukee, allowing one run on four hits and a walk with 10 strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old matched his season high for strikeouts but still came away with a no-decision after turning a 1-1 affair over to the bullpen. The lone blemish on his line was a Jace Peterson RBI single in the fourth inning that tied the game. Webb has seen an uptick in his strikeout numbers since early August, whiffing 48 over 39.1 innings in six starts during that stretch. He lines up to face the Rockies at Coors Field in his next scheduled start.

Webb (8-3) allowed five hits with one walk and six strikeouts over seven shutout innings, picking up the win in Saturday's 5-0 victory over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Webb did it all on Saturday, even helping his own cause with a double as he cruised through seven dominant innings in Atlanta. The right-hander limited a potent Braves order to just five singles on the night while striking out six. After averaging four strikeouts per game over four starts in July, the 24-year-old has averaged 6.8 strikeouts over six starts in August. His ERA reflects this improvement, as it now sits at 1.41 for the month, well below his season mark of 2.65.

Webb allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk while striking out seven across six innings in the win over the Athletics on Sunday. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Webb fired five scoreless innings before allowing a run in the sixth on a Mark Canha single. That run was enough for Webb to not get the win. He has six straight quality starts dating back to July 27. The 24-year-old has a 2.84 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with 105 strikeouts in 98.1 innings this season.

Webb (7-3) earned the win Tuesday over the Mets after allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk while fanning eight across 7.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Webb has struck out at least eight in each of his last three starts, but his levels of dominance haven't been reflected in that single category only -- he has also allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last 11 starts. The right-hander owns an excellent 1.64 ERA with a 0.91 WHIP during that span, and it's safe to say he's been one of the best pitchers in the National League over the last three months.

Webb (6-3) won Thursday's 7-0 dispatching of the Rockies, throwing six innings and allowing three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was brilliant Thursday, with more strikeouts than baserunners allowed on his way to his first scoreless start since May. No Rocky made it past second base and three double plays assisted the 24-year-old in needing only 91 pitches to get through six innings. Webb now has four straight quality starts and hasn't lost since back on May 5, improving his ERA from 5.34 to 2.96 in the 10-start stretch.
