Morrison (illness) is back in the lineup Sunday against the Red Sox, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports.
Morrison needed just one day out of the lineup to flush the illness from his system. Now presumably healthy, Morrison will attempt to continue his success in the batter's box, where he's batting an excellent .328 with a .386 on-base percentage in August.

Morrison is out of the lineup Saturday due to illness, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
Team doctors will examine Morrison and determine whether or not he should return to the hotel, but it doesn't sound like anything that could keep the 26-year-old out for more than a couple games. Morrison could likely use a rest anyway, as he's started 18 straight games for Seattle. Kendrys Morales will take over at first base in his absence.

Morrison doubled and hit an RBI single in a win Friday at Detroit.
Morrison missed about two months early in the season with an injury and took some time to regain his stroke. Since July 26, though, he's batting .305/.354/.424 in 17 games. With Corey Hart on the disabled list, Morrison is getting steady playing time at first base.

Logan Morrison doubled in Kyle Seager in the top of the 12th to help the Mariners beat the Angels 3-2 on Saturday.
28 innings in two days for the Mariners and Angels. Morrison's hit put Seattle up 2-1, and the Mariners went on to add an insurance run on Justin Smoak's squibber against the shift. They ended up needing it, as David Freese homered to start the bottom of the 12th. However, Charlie Furbush was able to finish up from there. Morrison is currently hitting .186 in 59 at-bats this month, so he could use a few more big hits to help his job security.

Logan Morrison led the 12-3 bludgeoning of Boston on Monday, going 4-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and four runs scored.
He reached base all fives times up, also walking. LoMo's second inning solo homer off starter John Lackey tied the game 1-1, and his three-run bomb off Chris Capuano in the seventh capped the game's scoring. It's difficult to understate how surprising this outburst was. Morrison raised his batting average from .164 to .215, he doubled his homers from two to four, and his OPS took on serious helium, rising from .522 to .712. Despite the outburst, Morrison (.245 career average and 44 homers in 1,356 at-bats) should be relegated to AL-only leagues.

Logan Morrison (head) is in Monday's lineup against the Padres.
Morrison left Sunday's game after he hit the wall of the Mariners' dugout with his bat and a piece broke off and hit him in the forehead. He suffered a cut as a result, but fortunately the silly incident won't keep him out of the lineup.

Mariners activated OF Logan Morrison from the 15-day disabled list.
Morrison is starting at first base for the Mariners on Wednesday night and could see regular starts there until Justin Smoak (quad) returns. Morrison was batting .150 with a .377 OPS in eight games before suffering a severe right hamstring strain in mid-April. He is not a good fantasy option.
