Logan Morrison doubled in Kyle Seager in the top of the 12th to help the Mariners beat the Angels 3-2 on Saturday. 28 innings in two days for the Mariners and Angels. Morrison's hit put Seattle up 2-1, and the Mariners went on to add an insurance run on Justin Smoak's squibber against the shift. They ended up needing it, as David Freese homered to start the bottom of the 12th. However, Charlie Furbush was able to finish up from there. Morrison is currently hitting .186 in 59 at-bats this month, so he could use a few more big hits to help his job security.
