Tucker was called up from Triple-A Fresno on Saturday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old slashed .306/.371/.520 with 14 home runs, 66 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 80 games for Fresno this year. Since the beginning of June, he's posted a 1.018 OPS. Tucker is pretty solid across the board and has the ability to man all three outfield spots and should see a decent amount of playing time during his first trip up to the big leagues. In his place, Jake Marisnick was optioned to Fresno.

Tucker went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run for Triple-A Fresno on Monday, extending his hitting streak to 14 games.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker is hitting .508 (30-for-59) during his 14-game run and belted his 11th home run of the season. While his power numbers are down slightly compared to 2017, Tucker's .908 OPS is right in line with his career trajectory. Results in the hitter friendly Pacific Coast League can skew a prospect's numbers, as will Tucker's .369 BABIP, but the 21-year-old has hit well at every level before Fresno and his arrival in Houston remains highly anticipated.

Tucker went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs for Triple-A Fresno in its 5-3 win over Round Rock on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker is riding a nine-game hitting streak and has recorded three hits in five of those contests, propping his season average back up over .300. The double Tucker recorded Tuesday was his 22nd of the season, vaulting him into third in the Pacific Coast League in that category. The 21-year-old's .191 ISO is still well behind what he posted between High-A and Double-A in 2017, but considering the upgrade in competition as well as his age relative to level, Tucker has justified his status as the Astros' top position prospect.

Tucker went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles, two walks and four RBI for Triple-A Fresno in its 11-2 win over El Paso.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker broke out of a three-game hitless skid in a big way to boost his season line to .282/.361/.447. The slugging mark represents a bit of a step back from what he posted during stops at High-A Buies Creek and Double-A Corpus Christi in 2017, so the Astros may want to see him tap into a little more power before entertaining a promotion. Tucker seems likely to get the call to the big leagues at some point this summer, especially with the Astros failing to receive consistent production from their left fielders through the first two months of the season.

Tucker went 3-for-5 and connected on his second home run of the season Sunday in Triple-A Fresno's 11-5 win over Tacoma.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker saw a six-game hit streak come to an end Saturday but didn't take long to return to top form, driving in three Sunday while finishing a triple shy of the cycle. With a .770 OPS and solid 11:21 BB:K over 101 plate appearances, the center fielder has met little resistance in his first taste of Triple-A ball. There isn't an immediate opening for Tucker on the big-league roster, but it will become increasing difficult for the Astros to keep the 21-year-old on the farm for much longer if he continues to mash against Pacific Coast League pitching.

Tucker is hitting .292 with one home run, one stolen base and a 7:5 K:BB in six games for Triple-A Fresno.
EDGE Analysis
He has four walks and just one strikeout in his last three games. Tucker should continue to post impressive numbers in the Pacific Coast League, and should be an option for a big-league promotion in the coming months.

Tucker is expected to open the season at Triple-A Fresno, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Tucker has appeared in just 72 games at Double-A, the Astros decided that the highly-regarded 21-year-old is more than ready for Triple-A after he slashed an impressive .409/.438/.818 with five homers in 48 Cactus League plate appearances. A promotion to the majors could be in the cards later this season if he continues to excel in the upper minors.

The Astros optioned Tucker to their minor-league camp Sunday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic Houston reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker's odds of cracking the Opening Day roster were always remote, but a promotion to the big club could be in the cards later this season for the 21-year-old, who is regarded as one of the top outfield prospects in baseball. For now, Tucker will presumably settle for an assignment at Triple-A Fresno or Double-A Corpus Christi, where he finished the past season and slashed .265/.325/.512 with 38 extra-base hits in just 317 plate appearances.

Tucker is not a candidate for an Opening Day roster spot, the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Through Thursday's Grapefruit league games, Tucker is hitting 5-for-13 with three home runs and eight RBI. Still, the 21-year-old has played just 72 games at the Double-A level, so the Astros want to give him more time in the minors before considering a call-up. The young outfielder is one of the better prospects in the game, and if he can carry this spring performance into the regular season at the minor-league level he could be putting on an Astros uniform before long.

Tucker has been invited to spring training.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker, 21, was named the Astros 2017 Minor League Player of the Year after hitting .274 with 33 doubles, 25 home runs, 90 RBI and 21 stolen bases in 120 games at High-A Buies Creek and Double-A Corpus Christi. The left-handed hitting outfielder is the organization's second-ranked prospect and top-ranked position prospect, per RotoWire.
