Tucker was recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Sunday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old will rejoin the Astros for the last two weeks of the season now that Triple-A Fresno's season is over. Tucker hit an excellent .332/.400/.590 with 24 homers and 20 steals in 100 games for Fresno but hit just .154/.254/.212 in 20 games at the big-league level.

Tucker will return to Houston when rosters expand in September, but only after Triple-A Fresno completes its postseason schedule, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker has torn it up at Fresno since his Aug. 21 demotion from the majors, going 14-for-25 with six home runs and 13 RBI. He's been producing all year in the Pacific Coast League, but his success did not carry over to the majors, where he had a .466 OPS in two brief stints.

Tucker went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, a stolen base and three RBI in Triple-A Fresno's 7-6 win over Salt Lake on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
After failing to make much of an impression in his second callup to the big leagues earlier this month, Tucker has been unstoppable since returning to Triple-A on Tuesday. In four games with Fresno, Tucker has gone 12-for-19 with six home runs and three steals, with his walkoff ninth-inning blast Saturday capping a five-run rally and securing a division title for Fresno. He'll likely rejoin the big club when rosters expand in September, but Tucker probably won't be asked to fill a full-time role for the Astros, despite his recent success in the Pacific Coast League.

Tucker was optioned to Triple-A Fresno following Monday's game in Seattle, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The move precedes the anticipated activation of Jose Altuve (knee) from the disabled list Tuesday. Tucker, the organization's second-ranked prospect, went 1-for-7 in his second stint with the Astros. He should return when rosters expand Sept. 1.

Tucker started in left field and went 0-for-3 with a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker ignited an eighth-inning rally when he was hit by a pitch and scored Houston's first run. This was his first start since being called up from Triple-A Fresno on Saturday as a replacement for the injured Jake Marisnick (groin). This is Tucker's second stint with the Astros after he appeared overmatched earlier this summer. If he continues to struggle against major-league pitching, Tucker could be the roster casualty when George Springer (thumb) is ready to be activated from the disabled list, expected to happen by the end of this week.

Tucker was recalled by the Astros on Saturday, Christian Boutwell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker is up to replace Jake Marisnick, who hit the 10-day disabled list with a groin injury. The 21-year-old didn't fare well in his first taste of big-league baseball earlier in the year, hitting just .156/.240/.222 in 50 plate appearances, but he's been on fire since his demotion, going 13-for-34 with three homers in eight games.

Tucker is 11-for-28 (.393 AVG) with two home runs, two steals and nine strikeouts in six games since being optioned to Triple-A Fresno.
EDGE Analysis
He has really heated up over the past couple days, with six hits, including two home runs, over the past two games (11 at-bats). While this is nice to see, it's not surprising, as he had essentially mastered the level prior to being promoted to the majors a month ago. The recent barrage of strikeouts is a bit concerning -- perhaps he is trying too hard to hit his way back to the big leagues. He is on the 40-man roster, so he should return in September, at the latest, and could be back up before then if he continues to swing a hot bat.

Tucker was sent back down to Triple-A Fresno on Wednesday, Jake Kaplan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker had only recorded 10 at-bats during Houston's past eight games, so he will return to the minor leagues in order to receive everyday playing time. Since being called up in early July, he hit .156/.240/.222 with three RBI and understandably couldn't get into a groove with irregular playing time. Look for him to rejoin the Astros when the rosters expand in September, if not before then. In a corresponding move, Jake Marisnick was recalled from Fresno.

Tucker entered Tuesday's game after George Springer was removed due to a shoulder injury. He went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in a 5-2 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker came in to play left field while the starting left fielder Tony Kemp slid over to center field to take Springer's spot. The rookie Tucker has seen his playing dry up significantly, having started twice in the last 10 days, but could get a start in Wednesday's series finale against the Mariners. Over 50 plate appearances, Tucker is hitting .156 with a .462 OPS.

Tucker is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Tucker is on the bench for the fourth time in six games after Saturday's 0-for-3 showing dropped his batting average to .143 through his first 46 plate appearances in the big leagues. A .188 BABIP has certainly hindered Tucker, but the 21-year-old may need to pick up the pace offensively in his subsequent opportunities to avoid a demotion to Triple-A Fresno.
