After inclement weather limited his last outing to just two innings, Hendricks continued his stellar rookie campaign with Friday night's effort against the Cardinals. During his second month in the big leagues, the Cubs' young hurler posted an outstanding 1.69 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB ratio across 37.1 innings. Hendricks is scheduled to be back atop the mound Wednesday versus the Brewers.

All is not lost for Hendricks, however, as he'll still get his two starts next week. As things stand now, he's set to face the Mets in Monday's series finale and the Orioles on either Aug. 23 or Aug. 24.
