Pillar went 3-for-3 with a double and solo homer in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Yankees.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a solid season in his first full campaign with Toronto, flashing an impressive combination of power and speed. Pillar has swiped 22 bags in 25 attempts while also tallying 26 doubles and 11 homers, and appears to be developing into a key piece of the Blue Jays' future.

Pillar went 1-for-3 with a home run, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's victory over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Pillar was the surprise story of spring training, but didn't fully seize the starting center field role until Dalton Pompey's struggles forced him into the lineup. He's now hitting for a .267/.302/.379 slash line with 10 home runs and 18 stolen bases, the latter of which leads the team.

Pillar went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox. Pillar now sports a .281/.312/.406 slash line and leads the team with 12 stolen bases. While his defense keeps him in the lineup regardless, Pillar continues to bolster the bottom of the Blue Jays' potent lineup.

Pillar went 1-for-4 Saturday with a solo shot, his seventh home run of the season. He's been stringing together plenty of hits lately, pushing his batting average up to .281 on the season, but the homer is his first since June 21. Pillar's defense in center field and solid bat should continue to get him plenty of playing time.

Pillar went 1-for-5 with a pair of steals in Wednesday's win over Tampa Bay. The Jays' center fielder has a dozen swipes now, and he's been swinging the bat well, with hits in nine straight. Pillar's got a combination of speed and modest pop that plays well in some fantasy formats -- with special thanks to the lineup around him - despite his difficulties getting on base consistently (.302 OBP).

Pillar went 2-for-4 with a RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's victory over the Mets. After doubling his career home run total this season (from five to 10), Pillar has established himself as the club's top base stealer this season. In 11 attempts, Pillar has swiped 10 bags, which leads the team. Throughout his minor league career, he's always been a threat on the base paths, stealing as many as 51 bases across two teams in 2012 and 27 last season for Triple-A Buffalo. If he can keep getting on base, Pillar remains a threat to steal a base or two in addition to providing help in a number of other categories.

Pillar went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in Thursday's win over the Mets. He may be better known for his defense, but Pillar has been a hitting machine in June, as he's now 20-for-52 (.385) with three homers, two steals, 14 RBI and 10 runs this month. Don't expect him to keep up that sort of pace, but Pillar was a good hitter in the minor leagues -- he posted a .323/.359/.509 line in Triple-A last year -- and is getting everyday playing time in the Toronto outfield. He's giving fantasy owners in a variety of formats reason to be interested.

Pillar is back in the lineup Wednesday against the Mets. Pillar was given the night off Tuesday when the Blue Jays faced Matt Harvey and the Mets. He'll reclaim his spot in center field and bat eighth in the order against left-hander Jon Niese.
