Turner (quad) returned to the starting lineup Thursday, going 1-for-2 with a pair of walks in a 4-0 loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old looked healthy in his return to diamond, getting on base three times on a day where the Dodgers were shut out by Brett Anderson. With an off day on Tuesday, the third baseman ended up missing just one contest with a minor quadriceps injury. With a .355/.429/.516 slash line through nine games, Turner should continue to be a driving force behind the Dodgers' offense this season.

Turner is back in the Dodgers' lineup Thursday against the Cubs, batting third and playing third base, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner returns to action after a quadriceps issue knocked him out of Tuesday's game. He only missed Wednesday and will resume occupying his spot in the heart or middle of the Dodgers' order.

Turner (quadriceps) entered the game as a pinch-hitter Wednesday against the Cubs and recorded a groundout to second.
EDGE Analysis
Turner stepped in for Joc Pederson in the eighth inning of Wednesday's game, showing that he is both available off the bench and nearing a return to the lineup. Look for Turner's bat back in the lineup when the Dodgers wrap up their series against Brett Anderson and the Cubs on Thursday afternoon. The 32-year-old is already 6-for-17 with three doubles against left-handed pitching this season.

Manager Dave Roberts said he expects Turner (quadriceps) back in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs, David Vassegh of 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner is reportedly feeling much better, and should even be available off the bench Wednesday should the Dodgers need a pinch hitter. The 32-year-old is 10-for-28 with five doubles and a stolen base through seven games this year. He'll reclaim his spot at the hot corner once he's able to return.

Turner (quad) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite benefiting from the Dodgers being off the schedule Tuesday, Turner wasn't able to get over the quad injury in time to enter the lineup for the second game of the team's series with the Cubs. The Dodgers haven't indicated that a stint on the disabled list is imminent for Turner, but his absence Wednesday will nonetheless open up a start at second base for Chase Utley, while Logan Forsythe moves over to cover third base for Turner.

Turner left Monday's game against the Cubs with a quad injury, ESPN.com's Doug Padilla reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner was hit by a pitch in the top of the eighth inning, and while he initially stayed in the game to run the bases, he was then removed before the bottom half of the frame. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts doesn't believe the injury is serious, and he said Turner will be re-evaluated Tuesday. Any missed time would open up at-bats for Chase Utley and/or Enrique Hernandez.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the Dodgers' 10-6 win over the Rockies on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old third baseman has done nothing but hit in the first week of the season, as he's batting .400 so far after another two-hit performance. Turner doesn't have a home run yet, but he's recorded at least two knocks in four of the club's first six games. He has become a very useful middle-of-the-order hitter for fantasy owners.

Turner is not in the Dodgers' lineup Thursday against the Padres, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The third sacker is getting a breather in the getaway day game, with Logan Forsythe sliding over to the hot corner and Chase Utley filling in at second base. Expect Turner to rejoin the lineup Friday.

Turner went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 14-3 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Turner picked up right where he left off last season when he posted career-high counting stats across the board. The 32-year-old batted third for manager Dave Roberts on Monday, sandwiched favorably between Corey Seager and Adrian Gonzalez. If that lineup configuration holds all season, the third baseman should be in a great position to meet last year's marks of 79 runs and 90 RBI while providing a solid batting average.

Turner went 1-for-4 with a double, a pair of RBI and a stolen base in a 6-5 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
The stolen base is a positive sign that Turner's knee is feeling good after receiving a preventative lubricating injection last week. He is having a strong spring, batting .375 (6-for-16) with seven RBI after posting career numbers last season. While the 27 home runs last year appears to be an outlier, 2016 was the first time the 32-year-old has logged a full season as a starter in the majors. His isolated power rating of .218 last season isn't far off from the .197 he produced in 2015. So a slight regression in power may be expected, but Turner should still be good for 16-20 homers and solid counting stats while batting in the heart of the Dodgers' potent lineup.
