Turner (legs) is batting third and starting at third base Thursday against the Mets, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
After getting Wednesday off to rest his legs, Turner is good to go for Thursday's series finale. He'll look to keep up his stellar year at the dish when he returns to the lineup to face Steven Matz.

Manager Dave Roberts said Turner is not in the lineup Wednesday because his legs felt a little heavy, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner has appeared in 10-of-11 games since returning from a three-week stint on the DL with a hamstring injury, so the Dodgers are likely playing it safe with the hot-hitting third baseman. Consider him day-to-day for now; his status for Thursday's series finale will likely be determined closer to game time.

Turner is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Mets, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner will retreat to the bench after ending his hitting 14-game hitting streak with an 0-for-4 performance Tuesday. Logan Forsythe will slide over to third base in his place, opening up a spot for Chase Utley to start at the keystone. Turner has been on a tear in 10 games since coming of the disabled list, slashing .432/.523/.703 with three homers and nine RBI over that span.

Turner was a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run, four runs and two runs scored Monday night against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Much of his damage was done on a two-run homer off Mets' starter Zack Wheeler in the second inning of the contest, but Turner continues to be one of the top third basemen in all of baseball. This marks the second game in a row in which he's homered, and his batting average and OPS are now up to .399 and 1.027, respectively. His .434 BABIP is highly unsustainable, but Turner's spot in the heart of the Dodgers' batting order will keep him relevant in all formats even when he comes back to earth a bit.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a base hit and a walk in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Turner's homers have been scarcer than most expected, but when health has prevailed, he's offset the power outage by hitting .385, putting him in the mix for his first career batting title. The third baseman's hit streak now sits at 13 games, three shy of the career-best mark he established in April.

Turner is not in the lineup for Saturday's contest against the Reds, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner has started six of the seven games since returning from a hamstring injury, so Saturday will likely serve as just a routine day off for him. Since his return, the 32-year-old third baseman has slashed .400/.500/.560 and has collected hits in all seven of the team's contests over that span. He should rejoin the lineup Sunday, while Logan Forsyth will man the hot corner in his place Saturday.

Turner is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds, Eric Stephen of TrueBlueLA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
There were no reported issues with the hamstring in Turner's return to the lineup Friday, but it seems the Dodgers don't want to push their luck. Logan Forsythe will man the hot corner in his absence, but look for Turner to be available off the bench and back in the lineup Sunday. He homered Friday -- just his second home run of the season -- and is now batting .378/.455/.510 on the year.

Turned returned from the disabled list with a bang, going 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Friday's win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The home run was just Turner's second of the season, well off of last year's 27-homer pace. Despite the lack of power this season, the third baseman was carrying an impressive .379/.453/.493 slash line prior to hitting the disabled list with a bum hamstring May 18. Now that he is healthy, he should resume his role as the Dodgers' three-hole hitter going forward.

Turner (hamstring) was activated from the disabled list Friday, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
As anticipated, Turner will return from the hamstring injury that sidelined him since mid-May. He'll likely resume his normal spot in the heart of the Dodgers' order as he looks to build off his outstanding .379 batting average. Brett Eibner was sent to the minors to make room on the roster for him.

Turner (hamstring) completed a simulated game without any cause for concern, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following the simulated game, Turner believes that he will not need another one or a rehab contest if he feel fine Thursday. The third baseman is targeting a weekend return and will be eligible to come off the 10-day disabled list on Friday for the beginning of the series with Cincinnati. Turner has not played since May 18, but he had been off to a blistering pace this season, batting .379/.453/.493.
