Turner will undergo an MRI on his right hamstring Friday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Dave Roberts said he's "holding out hope" that Turner will avoid the disabled list, but hamstring issues can be tricky. Turner likely won't play Friday as they await the results. Chris Taylor is a candidate to fill in at third base while the vet rests.

Turner exited Thursday's game against the Marlins with an apparent right hamstring injury, J.P. Hoonstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
He suffered the injury rounding third on a Yasmani Grandal base hit to left field and immediately grabbed at the back of his right leg. Turner slowly limped off the field and went straight back to the clubhouse with team trainers. Chris Taylor, who replaced Turner at third base, could be an option to fill in at the hot corner should Turner miss additional time. The Dodgers figure to provide an update on Turner's status late Thursday or early Friday.

Turner went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs in San Francisco on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Although we're still waiting for Turner's power stroke to show up -- he has just one homer this year after socking a career-best 27 last season -- he's swinging a hot bat nonetheless, as evidenced by his .372 batting average, which ranks fourth in baseball. The counting stats haven't exactly come along as you'd like (17 RBI and 17 runs), but if Turner keeps hitting with something resembling this level of consistency, that discrepancy will be corrected in due time.

Turner is not in the lineup Monday against the Giants, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite back-to-back multi-hit games for Turner, he'll head to the bench for the first time in 22 games as Enrique Hernandez gets the nod at the hot corner. Turner is enjoying a nice year at the plate so far, slashing .359/.433/.473 through 131 at-bats.

Turner went 3-for-4 with his 11th double of the season in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Turner's hitting streak is up to a career-high 16 games now, and all he's done in the season's first month is hit. He's up to a .404 average with one homer and 12 RBI in 99 plate appearances and has already recorded four three-hit games in the first month. Although the power numbers aren't there yet, Turner looks completely healthy after offseason knee surgery.

Turner is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Phillies, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
It appears to be a routine day off for Turner, who has started the last eight games for the Dodgers. The third baseman is off to a great start on the season, with a .381 AVG, 10 RBI, and a .947 OPS. Chris Taylor starts at the hot corner in his absence.

Turner went 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBI in Friday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The red-hot third baseman extended his current hitting streak to 14 games, raising his batting average to .381 in the process. The hit streak is even more impressive when you consider that he suffered a hand injury during the streak, but returned and didn't skip a beat. Turner has yet to record a home run this season, but his 10 doubles have kept his slugging percentage (.500) slightly above last year's mark (.493) when he hit a career-high 27 homers. While he may not reach that mark again this season, the home runs will surely be on their way as long as he continues to make hard contact 30.7 percent of the time.

Turner (hand) is back in the lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks, batting third and playing third base, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner sat out of Wednesday's contest after being plunked in the hand Tuesday, but it seems like everything is back to normal for the third baseman. He'll assume his normal spot in the lineup with Enrique Hernandez returning to a reserve role.

Turner is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Turner will get the day off as Enrique Hernandez takes over at third base. He got hit in the hand during Tuesday's game but was able to stay in, so the Dodgers appear to be playing it safe with him. More should be known on his status before Friday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Turner was struck in the hand with a pitch in the fifth inning of Tuesday's loss to the Rockies, but he stayed in the game and finished 1-for-4 with an RBI.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers had X-rays done on their third baseman's hand for precautionary reasons, and the results came back negative. It appears that Turner avoided any sort of damage to his right hand, and he should be fine going forward. The 32-year-old is currently slashing .360/.448/.520 while batting third in the the order this season.
