Turner is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
This appears to be just a routine day off for Turner, who has played a full contest in every game since July 5. He is not among the elite third basemen in the game, but he is in that next group, as his 21 homers are tied with Kyle Seager for eighth among third basemen and his .848 OPS ranks ninth among regulars at the position. Rob Segedin will get a rare start at the hot corner Wednesday, batting eighth.

Turner went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Turner followed the examples of Howie Kendrick and Yasmani Grandal, as each of the three managed to hit a two-run homer off starter Vince Velasquez. The third baseman established a new career high with his 56th run of the season, and added to career highs in homers and RBI. A late bloomer, Turner has become a key piece for a contending Dodgers team over the past two seasons after being bandied about the league for years.

Turner (2-for-3) connected for two home runs off Nationals' ace Stephen Strasburg en route to a five RBI performance Thursday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
Just an hour into the afternoon, the Dodgers' hottest hitter already had his fourth career multi-homer game and his first game with five RBI since May 15, 2011. Over the previous two seasons, Turner was one of the Dodgers' best hitters and an anchor in the middle of their lineup. But the third baseman stumbled to start the 2016 season, and on June 8, he was hitting only .220. Turner insists nothing in his swing has changed since then, but his numbers certainly have. Since that date, he has lifted his average 47 points by hitting .333 with 13 home runs.

Turner went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Turner was hitless heading into the eighth inning, but he smacked a two-run homer which he followed with a two-run double in the ninth that nearly brought the Dodgers back from a six-run deficit. Turner has seemingly discovered his power stroke of late, as he has homered four times in his last eight games and has nine RBI during that span as well.

Turner is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Chris Taylor will get the nod at third base as Turner sits following six consecutive starts. Turner has picked it up considerably at the plate considerably over the past month or so, posting a .922 OPS with eight homers in June. He's battled hamstring and toe ailments in recent weeks and this looks like nothing more than a routine maintenance day for the 31-year-old.

Turner (toe) is back in the lineup Wednesday against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
He had four extra-base hits and six RBI in the four games prior to the minor toe injury that forced him to miss one game. Turner will bat third against righty Junior Guerra on Wednesday, and should re-assume the everyday duties at the hot corner.

Turner (hamstring) expects to return to the lineup Wednesday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers' third baseman clarified that his absence Tuesday is due to a sore left toe, the result of being struck by a foul ball, and is not related to the leg cramp that forced him from Monday's game. Regardless, it sounds like Turner will be back Wednesday as he looks to finish his outstanding month of June (.931 OPS) on a high note.

The third baseman, who's logged three doubles and six RBI over his last four games, is getting replaced by recent call up Chris Taylor in the lineup.
