Ginn is scheduled to start Friday's game in Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Called up from Triple-A Las Vegas last Saturday to replace the struggling Joey Estes in the rotation, Ginn spun a gem in his 2025 debut with the Athletics, limiting the Mets to one run on five hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings. He'll unsurprisingly stick around for another turn through the rotation, and Ginn's ability to keep the ball on the ground should come in handy at American Family Field, which has historically been one of the better ballparks in baseball for home-run production.

Ginn (1-0) came away with the win against the Mets on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out six across 5.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Ginn was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas and was named as the starter for Saturday's game. He was able to navigate through some sticky situations through the first five innings, but he couldn't maintain the shutout, giving up a solo home run to Brandon Nimmo in the sixth. Ginn was two outs shy from registering the quality start, but it was still an excellent outing for the 25-year-old right-hander in what was the seventh major-league start in his career. Ginn is slated to start next week on the road against the Brewers.

The Athletics recalled Ginn from Triple-A Las Vegas ahead of his start Saturday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old righty will be replacing Joey Estes in the Athletics' rotation, as the latter was relegated to the minors following a poor performance Sunday. Ginn, meanwhile, has hit the ground running in the minors with a 1.64 ERA and 0.64 WHIP alongside a 19:2 K:BB through 11 innings. Angel Perdomo was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

The Athletics will recall Ginn from Triple-A Las Vegas to start Saturday's game against the Mets, Jessica Kleinschmidt of Baseball America reports.
EDGE Analysis
The A's were down a man in their rotation after optioning Joey Estes to Triple-A following his ugly outing Sunday, so they'll now give Ginn another look in the bigs. The 25-year-old righty has looked great so far in the minors, allowing just two runs in 11 innings while striking out 19 batters and walking two.

The Athletics optioned Ginn to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Ginn was in contention for a spot in the Athletics' Opening Day rotation heading into camp, but he'll open the season in the minors after struggling over his five Cactus League outings (7.62 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and 16:8 K:BB in 13 innings). If the right-hander can iron out his control issues at Triple-A, he should be one of the top candidates to enter the rotation if the Athletics are in need of another starter at any point this season.

Ginn gave up four runs with two strikeouts over 2.2 innings in Monday's spring training loss to the White Sox. He has a 10.00 ERA this spring with a 9:7 K:BB ratio in nine innings.
EDGE Analysis
Ginn looks set to begin the season at Triple-A despite finishing last year in the big league rotation. He'll likely be among the first pitchers called up if there's an opening, however.

Ginn (1-1) picked up the win Thursday against Texas, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks across 5.1 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old rookie logged his first MLB victory Thursday in front of a sold-out crowd for the Athletics' final game at the Oakland Coliseum. Ginn's now surrendered two or fewer runs in back-to-back starts, and he owns a 4.45 ERA across six starts (30.1 innings) this season. Ginn also tallied a 25:6 K:BB as a starter.

Ginn allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision versus the Yankees on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Ginn completed five frames for the fourth time in his five starts this year, and this was one of his better performances. He limited the damage to a game-tying RBI single by Anthony Volpe in the fifth inning. Ginn hasn't looked uncomfortable at the major-league level, turning in an acceptable 4.40 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 27:7 K:BB over 28.2 innings across seven outings. His last start of the campaign is tentatively set to be at home versus the Rangers.

Ginn did not factor into the decision Saturday against the White Sox. He pitched four innings and allowed three runs on 10 hits while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
Ginn was knocked around by the White Sox, giving up three or more hits in each of the first three innings on Saturday. The rookie right-hander was making his fourth consecutive start after pitching in relief in his first two professional appearances. This was Ginn's first start in which he doesn't complete five innings, but he's allowed multiple runs in each of those four starts. The 25-year-old will carry a 4.94 ERA into his next start, currently scheduled against the Yankees.

Ginn (0-1) allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Ginn gave up two runs in the third inning and another in the fourth, leaving the game with the Athletics trailing 3-0. A comeback wasn't in the cards after Ross Stripling surrendered six runs in the eighth inning, leaving Ginn with his first loss in five major-league appearances (three starts). He's pitched to a 4.58 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB over 19.2 innings. Ginn's next outing is projected to be a favorable road matchup versus the White Sox.
