Josh Reddick (wrist) resumed hitting activities Friday. Reddick has missed the last two games due to a sprained wrist, but is expected to avoid the disabled list after an MRI ruled out structural damage. He's expected to take batting practice Friday and could return to the starting lineup this weekend.

Josh Reddick (wrist) is not expected to need a trip to the disabled list. Reddick had to undergo an MRI after re-spraining his right wrist, but evidently it came back relatively clean. It's not clear when he'll return to the lineup, but it looks like he's not looking at an extended absence.

Josh Reddick will undergo an MRI after re-spraining his right wrist. It's the same wrist he had issues with earlier this season. We'll have to see what the MRI says, but there would seem to be a good chance Reddick would wind up back on the disabled list. Chris Young would get a bump in playing time if that's the case.

Josh Reddick continued his impressive power binge, blasting a pair of homers in Saturday's loss to the Athletics. Reddick entered play on Friday with five long balls on the season, and after three on Friday and Saturday's pair has doubled his season output. Even with the impressive run however, Reddick is still hitting a paltry .214/.294/.386 on the year with 10 homers and 45 RBI.

Josh Reddick had a power explosion in Friday's 14-6 win over the Blue Jays, going deep three times while driving in five runs. Where did that come from? Reddick was hitless over his last 17 at-bats coming into Friday's action while he had just three home runs over his last 173 plate appearances, but he may have saved his starting job with a night like this. The 26-year-old outfielder is the first A's player to hit three home runs in a game since Erubiel Durazo back in 2004. Fantasy owners will have to hope that this is a sign of things to come.

Josh Reddick is back in Friday's lineup against the Rangers. Reddick sat out Wednesday's game after taking a knee to the head during an outfield collision on Tuesday, but it was never a major concern. He's batting seventh against right-hander Alexi Ogando.

Josh Reddick is not experiencing concussion symptoms. Reddick was on the receiving end of a knee to the head during a collision in right field on Tuesday, but it appears that he'll have no long-term issues. He is out of the lineup Wednesday because he had a headache when he showed up to the park.

Josh Reddick is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Blue Jays. Reddick got a knee in the head during a collision in shallow right field on Tuesday night, so he's getting a breather with the day game. Chris Young will start in his place.

Josh Reddick hit a two-run homer in the top of the eighth Monday in the Athletics' 4-3 win over the Astros. Reddick has been unable to get on any sort of roll this season, but the A's have been patient with him and that doesn't figure to change. The homer tonight off Wesley Wright gave him his first runs batted in since July 7.

Josh Reddick is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Pirates. Reddick has hit well since coming off the disabled list, but he'll take a seat Wednesday with left-hander Francisco Liriano on the hill for Pittsburgh. Chris Young is starting in right field.
