Josh Phegley delivered a go-ahead grand slam in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Tigers.
The White Sox were trailing 3-1 before Phegley took Anibal Sanchez deep to left field in the in the top of the sixth inning. The 25-year-old is the first White Sox player with three home runs in his first five career games since Magglio Ordonez in 1997. We expect him to get most of the playing time behind the plate over Tyler Flowers moving forward, so he's worth a look in two-catcher leagues.

Josh Phegley homered in a second straight game Monday against the Cubs.
We bet you didn't know Yasiel Puig translates into Josh Phegley in English. With two homers and four RBI in three major league games, Phegley has quickly leapfrogged Tyler Flowers in the White Sox's plans. He won't play every day, but he should get as much time as he can handle while he's hot.

Josh Phegley had a memorable MLB debut, driving home a pair of runs in Friday's loss to the Rays.
Phegley got the White Sox on the board with an RBI single in the fifth inning, then added a sacrifice fly in the ninth, finishing the night 1-for-3. He'll have to compete with Tyler Flowers for regular at-bats, but if he can win the starting job outright, there is plenty of offensive potential in his bat. He could make for a very interesting addition in two catcher formats.

Josh Phegley is batting eighth for the White Sox Friday in his major league debut.
The word is that Phegley will compete with Tyler Flowers for playing time, but he should get a good chance early on to see if he can run away with the job. The former sandwich round pick was batting .316/.368/.597 with 15 homers and 41 RBI at Triple-A before his recall Friday.

Dan Hayes of CSNChicago.com reports that the White Sox will call up Josh Phegley prior to Friday's game in Tampa.
A former sandwich round pick, Phegley has been an offensive force at Triple-A Charlotte this season, batting .316/.368/.597 with 15 homers and 41 RBI. Hayes says that he will compete for playing time with Tyler Flowers, and with Flowers batting only .208 with eight homers and 22 RBI, there's a good chance Phegley will see plenty of playing time. He's certainly worth considering in two-catcher leagues.

Josh Phegley is batting .333/.400/.651 with 10 home runs and 28 RBI through 34 games at Triple-A Charlotte.
Phegley is having a breakout year offensively and currently leads the International League with a .651 slugging-percentage. The White Sox would ideally wait until mid-June to promote Phegley to avoid Super 2 status, but they might not be able to resist calling him up for much longer with Tyler Flowers and Hector Gimenez struggling.
