The Rangers announced Saturday that they do not have an update regarding Josh Hamilton's condition but indicated that he could undergo more tests next week.
Hamilton was already forced to miss the entire weekend series against the Mariners in Seattle due to sinus trouble and blurred vision, and with this news it sounds like he won't be ready to return on Monday either. The Rangers play seven games at home next week, so if Hamilton is cleared to return, he won't have to do any traveling to join his team.

Josh Hamilton (nose, vision) attempted to go out for BP before Thursday's game, but his continued issues left him unable to do so.
Hamilton missed his second straight game due to blurry vision and sinus troubles. He's currently flying back to Texas to get examined by Rangers' team doctors. With the Rangers on their way to Seattle, it puts Hamilton's status for the weekend's series in serious doubt. With Hamilton maintaining a slim one homer lead over Miguel Cabrera, the door could be opened for Cabrera to achieve the Triple Crown.

Hamilton was pulled from Tuesday's game in the fourth inning with the problem, and evidently he's still not feeling well enough to suit up. He's having his vision checked and should be considered day-to-day for now.

Josh Hamilton launched his 42nd home run of the season, helping to power the Rangers in a 9-3 rout over the Mariners on Friday.
He finished the night 2-for-5 with a homer, double, two runs scored and two RBI. He's enjoying another MVP-caliber season, hitting .286/.354/.588 with 42 homers, 123 RBI and seven stolen bases. It's looking like the AL MVP race is shaping up to be a three-way competition between Hamilton, Mike Trout and Miguel Cabrera.
