Hamilton (shoulder) is out of the Angels' lineup again Saturday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports. As expected, Hamilton will remain out Saturday and manager Mike Scioscia acknowledged Friday that he's "unsure" of the slugger's status for the rest of the season. Hamilton (shoulder) will be out "the next couple games" according to manager Mike Scioscia, MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez reports. Hamilton received two cortisone shots in his right shoulder Wednesday, so it's not surprising to see him set to miss a few days of action. There's still a chance he returns Saturday or Sunday against the Astros, but it will depend on how his body responds to the treatment. Even if the soreness keeps him out for the entire weekend series, the team remains confident that he'll return at some point during the regular season.

Hamilton received two cortisone shots in his shoulder Tuesday, and is expected to miss the remainder of the series against the Rangers, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports. Hamilton hasn't been in the starting lineup since he was scratched Sunday due to neck and shoulder stiffness, and it looks like he'll miss at least another day or two. Depending on how his body responds to the treatment, he should return to the Angels' outfield at some point during the upcoming three-game series against the Astros. Colin Cowgill should continue to see additional reps in Hamilton's stead.

Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Tuesday that Hamilton (shoulder) is not improving, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports. Scioscia admitted that "there's concern" within the organization in regard to Hamilton's lack of progress with his right shoulder, though he did not indicate what the next step may be for the 33-year-old. That said, Hamilton is set to miss a fifth straight start Tuesday and a return before the end of the Rangers series seems unlikely in light of this news.

Hamilton (shoulder) is out of the lineup again Monday against the Indians. Hamilton didn't play Friday or Saturday because of a sore shoulder, but was placed in the lineup card Sunday before being scratched. He is out again Monday, with Colin Cowgill playing left field in his place. The 33-year-old outfielder has seen his offensive numbers dip since moving to Los Angeles, hitting .263/.331/.415 this season and about the same the season before after coming off his best year as a pro in 2012. Injuries haven't helped his cause, as he has only played in 88 games this season for the Angels.

Hamilton, who was scratched from Sunday's lineup, is dealing with stiffness in his right shoulder and neck, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports. It looks to be a minor flare-up of the shoulder issue Hamilton has been dealing with since Friday. He received trigger-point injections to treat muscle knots after experiencing tightness during batting practice. Consider Hamilton day-to-day until the team releases further information.
