Lucroy went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 12-9 loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
There is no hotter Brewers hitter than the veteran backstop, who has seemingly been playing catch-up on offense since an awful April. Although he is still hitting well below his career .281 average, Lucroy has caught fire over the last seven games, hitting a scorching .464 (13-for-28) with four doubles, a triple, three homers, eight RBI and nine runs scored. The stretch includes four multi-hit games and one multi-long ball performance.

Lucroy went 2-for-4 with a double, a RBI and two runs in Friday's win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Lucroy has had a disappointing encore to last season's MVP-caliber campaign. Unrecognizable due to injury and inconsistent play for much of the season, Lucroy has thrived in recent weeks, more closely resembling the catcher owners drafted in the spring. Over his last 15 games, Lucroy is batting .296 with three homers and 12 runs. With the playoffs approaching, Lucroy may well reward owners who have been patient with him.

Lucroy went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's loss against the Braves. This was Lucroy's second homer of the year and his first since June 5, so hopefully he can ramp up the power frequency in the second half. He is hitting .333 with three extra-base hits and six walks over his last eight games and has raised his average from .215 to .250 over that span.

Lucroy is out of the lineup Monday against the Braves. There doesn't appear to be an injury at play here, but Lucroy will get the day off after playing each of the last four games. Lucroy hit .278 in the month of June, and he's off to an encouraging start in July, going 7-for-19 (.368) with two doubles, two walks and two RBI. Martin Maldonado will get the nod at catcher Monday.

Lucroy singled twice, doubled and scored two runs over six at-bats Thursday against Philadelphia. This season has been a struggle for Lucroy, but he seems to have been energized by facing the Phillies, as he went 8-for-15 over three games against them this week. Now he'll just need to find a formula to keep it up as the Brewers head to Cincinnati for an NL Central basement showdown with the Reds.

Lucroy isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Phillies. Lucroy managed to raise his batting average 20 points following Monday's four-hit night, and added another to his total in four trips to the plate Tuesday. However, he's had a long stretch of starts behind the plate, and will finally get a rest Wednesday, with Martin Maldonado catching Kyle Lohse and batting eighth in his place.

Lucroy went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI in Monday's win over Philadelphia. All four of Lucroy's hits were singles, as he continues to search for consistent power. He has just seven extra-base hits in 38 games after setting the MLB record for doubles as a catcher last season. Monday's game was a season-high in hits for the catcher, but his slugging percentage sits at a putrid .302.

Lucroy is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies. Lucroy has been maintaining a pretty solid rate of starts in June so far, getting five or six days in the lineup before a day off. That's an amount of playing time that indicates the Brewers are comfortable with using him regularly despite his injuries and struggles in 2015.

Lucroy is not in the lineup Sunday against the Nationals. Lucroy has made six straight starts behind the plate for manager Craig Counsell, but will be awarded a regular day off for the Sunday afternoon contest. Martin Madonado will man the backstop in his stead.

Lucroy went 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI in the Brewers' win over the Twins on Friday night. The blast was Lucroy's first of the season, thanks in part to a slow start in April followed by a lengthy absence due to a fractured toe. He hit fifth in the order Friday night, and new manager Craig Counsell has been very fluid with the team's lineup card since taking over for Ron Roenicke earlier this season.
