Lucroy (concussion) will be examined Saturday in Pittsburgh to determine how much longer he will have to sit out, the Journal-Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's a rough situation for fantasy owners, as the Brewers have no reason to be anything other than extremely cautious with Lucroy over the final three weeks of the season. He should be considered out indefinitely for now, but hopefully the results of Saturday's evaluation will shed some more light on the matter.

Lucroy (concussion) is not in the lineup Friday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The news doesn't come as much of a surprise, as Lucroy wasn't expected to be available Friday after missing both of the last two games with concussion symptoms. Martin Maldonado will get another start behind the plate and bat eighth.

Lucroy (concussion) isn't expected to be available Friday, Tom Haudricort of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Considering the Brewers' current position in the standings, it's not a huge surprise that they will take things slow with their star catcher. He's not in Thursday, and it wouldn't be surprising if he sits out at least a couple more contests. Martin Maldonado will catch Thursday, with either he or Nevin Ashley likely filling in behind the plate until Lucroy returns.

Lucroy (concussion) is not in the lineup Thursday for the second straight day.
EDGE Analysis
Lucroy will sit out again Thursday, and will likely need to be cleared before he is able to play again, so it remains to be seen when he will take the field next. Martin Maldonado will get the start behind the plate Thursday night.

Lucroy is out of Wednesday's lineup due to concussion symptoms, the Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lucroy took a foul tip off of his mask Tuesday night, and he admitted to feeling dizzy after the incident. "It hit right off my jaw," Lucroy said. "It got me pretty good." The Brewers are expecting Lucroy to miss at least two or three days, and they'll essentially handle the situation on a game-to-game basis. "He's in that concussion protocol now," manager Craig Counsell said. "We're waiting for the doctors to clear him again. That's first. Most likely, (he'll miss) a couple of days." Starting in Lucroy's absence Wednesday will be Nevin Ashley, who makes his big league debut after 10 years in the minors.

Lucroy is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Lucroy continues to serve as the Brewers' primary backstop amidst a plethora of shifting roles around the club. He'll receive the day off Wednesday, however, with newly-recalled Nevin Ashley set to catch former Triple-A teammate Ariel Pena in his first major league start.

Lucroy went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored, and an RBI in Monday's 9-1 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Lucroy has been reminding fantasy owners of his offensive capabilities lately, recording six multi-hit games in his last 11 starts. It's been a season to forget for the veteran backstop, having posted a meager .706 OPS after missing chunks of the season to a toe injury.

Lucroy is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader with the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
This was to be expected, with Lucroy catching the first game of Saturday's twin bill. Lucroy went 0-for-5 in the matinee, snapping an 11-game hitting streak.

Lucroy went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run against the Pirates on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
All three hits were singles, but hey, they count. Lucroy's been on fire lately, having hit in 10 straight, with a spectacular 14 RBI in that span as he tries to recover from a horrendous first half of the year. He's improved dramatically since the All-Star break and should be a solid play down the stretch.

Lucroy is starting at first base in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
This will be Lucroy's fourth start at first base in 2015, taking over for Adam Lind while Martin Maldonado covers catcher. He's wrapping up a strong August, slashing .259/.347/.519 on the month.
