Moscot has been called up from Triple-A Louisville to start Friday's game against the Padres, replacing Raisel Iglesias.
The Reds have yet to announce a reason for the switch, but it's likely Iglesias is dealing with an injury. Moscot, who owns a 3.15 ERA and 5.6 K/9 through nine starts (54.1 innings) for Triple-A Louisville this season, will draw a favorable matchup in his big-league debut. The 23-year-old right-hander isn't much of a prospect.
