Moscot (shoulder) will likely pitch in one more rehab start, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moscot threw five innings in a rehab start Sunday, striking out four while allowing a pair of runs on two hits. The Reds mostly want him to get another rehab start under his belt in order to get him stretched out further, but he could be ready to rejoin the Cincinnati rotation following the next rehab start as long as everything goes as planned.

Moscot was placed on the 15-day DL on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Moscot began experiencing issues with his shoulder near the end of last month, and he'll now head to the DL, despite the team's initial belief that the right-hander wouldn't miss more than a couple of days. The DL stint is backdated to May 3, so Moscot will be eligible to return as soon as May 18.

Moscot (shoulder) will not start Tuesday's game against the Giants, with John Lamb filling in his place. Moscot is not expected to go on the DL, however, and will be available out of the bullpen.
EDGE Analysis
Moscot's MRI on his shoulder revealed no structural damage, and he received a cortisone shot. However, his hold on a rotation slot is tenuous at best, with Lamb coming off the DL now and other help potentially on the way soon.

Manager Bryan Price said Friday that he does not expect Moscot (shoulder) to miss any time, C.Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moscot reported that he was feeling shoulder soreness after his most recent outing Wednesday, but fortunately the ailment is in his non-pitching shoulder. As Price told reporters, Moscot isn't expected to miss any additional time due to his sore shoulder, so he should be back on the mound to make his next scheduled start Tuesday against Jeff Samardzija and the Giants.

Moscot (0-2) pitched five innings, allowing three runs (one earned), four hits and four walks while striking out two in Wednesday's loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old was victimized by a two-out error in the first inning that resulted in two unearned runs. Despite walking four, Wednesday was one of Mascot's better outings through six career starts, and he lowered his ERA to a career-best 4.02. It's worth noting, Moscot felt soreness in his non-throwing shoulder following the game, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Moscot felt soreness in his non-throwing shoulder following Wednesday's matchup with the Mets, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The shoulder is the same one he had surgically repaired. The team had X-ray's done, and are hoping it is simply scar tissue breaking up. Expect an update on Moscot's status when more information becomes available.

Moscot allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits, walking four and striking out two while lasting just five innings in an 8-1 loss to the Cubs on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
Moscot (0-1) scuffled from the outset, tossing just nine first pitch strikes, and needing 98 pitches (55 for strikes) to cover five innings. The Reds have some quality young arms in their system, but they appear hesitant to bring them up at this point in the season, which may provide Moscot and his 5.06 ERA with more chances. We recommend you consider other options for your fantasy rotation.

Moscot made his season debut Sunday against the Cardinals, allowing three runs with a pair of strikeouts and a walk across 5.2 innings. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander allowed a pair of solo home runs Sunday, but he was able to limit the damage for the most part and actually came within an out of delivering a quality start. Moscot's role in the rotation is not a given this season, but he should get the chance to prove himself due to a lack of more seasoned options. Sunday's performance was a positive step forward, and he will face another tough test in his next start Friday versus the Cubs.
