Gray (toe) is feeling no pain in his foot and received good results from Monday's bone scan, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies' young ace has been out since mid-April with a stress fracture in his foot, but it seems like he's on the right track to return relatively soon. Gray has been throwing from 90 to 100 feet during the time he's been out, but if his checkup on Thursday goes well, he could ditch his walking boot and progress to running drills in a swimming pool. Unfortunately, no timetable for his return to action exists yet, but things should become clearer following Thursday's appointment.

Gray (toe) is scheduled to receive a bone scan Monday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies' ace is expected to return sometime in mid-to-late May, but the hope is that Monday's scan will give a firmer timetable for his return. Gray is dealing with a stress fracture in his left foot, although if the bone scan shows improvement, Gray could progress further in his recovery program in the coming days.

Gray (toe) will be out four-to-six weeks, according to manager Bud Black, MLB Network Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
The original timetable had Gray missing at least a month, so not much has changed, but Black provided a more concrete window during an interview Tuesday. This means Gray should return from the stress fracture in his left foot in mid-to-late May.

Gray has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left foot and will miss at least a month, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gray initially seemed to think the aggravation of a left toe injury suffered during Thursday's start wasn't that big of a deal. Upon evaluation, though, it was discovered that the nuisance that Gray has been dealing with since spring training has evolved into something that will require rest and rehabilitation to fix. The Rockies have already called up Shane Carle to join the pitching staff, but it's unclear who will be moving into Gray's rotation spot long-term.

Gray has been placed on the 10-day disabled list after aggravating a left big toe injury, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gray has been dealing with the toe injury since spring training, and he said he was too sore to run because of the toe after the game. For now, it's unclear if Gray will miss more than one or two starts -- the Rockies haven't called up another starting pitcher yet, instead opting to add another relief arm in Shane Carle. As such, Gray may be able to return before the end of April.

Gray (toe) underwent an X-ray on Thursday and will be reevaluated Friday, Nick Groke of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gray was removed from Thursday's game in San Francisco during the fourth inning when he aggravated a big toe injury that previously bothered him during spring training. Speaking after the game he said the toe was sore enough to prevent him from running, but he also suggested that it should heal with rest. Though he didn't factor into the decision and only struck out one batter, Gray did hold the Giants scoreless to drop his ERA to 4.38.

Gray suffered a left big toe injury in Thursday's outing against the Giants, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies' ace suffered a toe injury late in spring training, and though he had been able to pitch through the ailment through the first two weeks of the season, he aggravated it against the Giants. The Rockies have a pair of relievers with starting experience in Jordan Lyles and Chris Rusin, but the organization could have to look to its farm system if Gray is to miss additional time. Losing Gray for an extended time would shake up what has been one of the club's better rotations in recent years. The Rockies figure to have an update on the severity of Gray's injury after he is evaluated further.

Gray (undisclosed) exited Thursday's game against the Giants in the fourth inning, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a concerning development for the Rockies' ace as Gray had dealt with a toe issue late in spring training and was quickly removed by the team's training staff in this outing. The Rockies have yet to announce the exact specifics on Gray's injury and severity, but more information will likely be made available late Thursday or early Friday. In any case, a loss of Gray beyond his outing against the Giants would be a significant blow to a rotation that is still jelling. Chris Rusin came on as a long reliever in place of Gray.

Gray lasted 5.1 innings in Saturday's no-decision against the Dodgers, allowing one run on four hits and three walks with one strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
Gray allowed a solo home run in the fifth inning but was otherwise able to limit the damage against him by inducing 11 ground ball outs. He struggled to throw strikes at times and was in the zone at just a 55 percent clip, but the Dodgers hitters struggled to square him up and were unable to mount any rallies. Unfortunately, his own offense waited until the sixth inning to take the lead, costing him a chance at a victory. Gray showed a marked improvement from a poor start in the season opener and will look to get his first win of the season Thursday against the Giants.

Gray struggled through four innings, allowing five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven in a no-decision Monday against Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
The performance was a far cry from what Gray and his owners were hoping for on Opening Day. Colorado's ace was cruising through four scoreless frames before imploding in the fifth innings, forcing manager Bud Black to pull the plug on the 25-year-old after just 71 pitches. Gray managed to show flashes of brilliance before falling apart, notching strikeouts on a 97 mph fastball, a 90 mph slider and an 85 mph changeup. He'll get a chance to rebound when he toes the rubber Sunday against the Dodgers.
