Hellickson (7-7) gave up just a single run on five hits without a walk while striking out eight over eight sparkling innings in Wednesday's win against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
It's been an up-and-down season for Hellickson, but mostly up lately -- he's pitched at least six innings in eight straight starts and has allowed just one earned run in four of his last five outings. Homers remain a bit of a problem for him -- a Chris Johnson solo shot accounted for the Marlins' run and marks Hellickson's 19th long ball allowed in 20 starts -- but he's putting up solid strikeout numbers and ratios that'll at least play in head-to-head formats. He'll have a road rematch with the Marlins on Monday.

Hellickson (6-7) gave up four earned runs on seven hits over six innings in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Mets. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The Phillies' right-hander pitched relatively well, but was done in by the long ball. Juan Lagares broke open a scoreless game with a 420-foot solo shot in the third, and Neil Walker followed with a 364-foot blast in the sixth that brought home Asdrubal Cabrera and Curtis Granderson. It was a step back for Hellickson, who hadn't given up a homer since June 20 versus the D-backs. He'd recorded four straight quality starts prior to Friday, and will try to resume a new streak against the Marlins next Wednesday.

Hellickson will start the Phillies' first game after the All-Star break, Dennis Georgatos of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hellickson will face the Mets on Friday at home. He will look to build on a solid first half of the season where he went 6-6 with a 3.92 ERA and a 93:27 K:BB in 105.2 innings. He will be followed in the rotation by Jerad Eickhoff and Zach Eflin.

The Red Sox have scouted Hellickson recently, Jon Morosi of FOX Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hellickson is one of many pitchers the Red Sox are looking at as they try to shore up their rotation. The Phillies will likely move Hellickson, who will be a free agent after this season, by the trade deadline. Jake Thompson has been pitching well at Triple-A and would be the likely choice to take Hellickson's rotation spot if he is moved.

Hellickson took a no-decision, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits over six innings against the Braves on Wednesday. He also struck out three and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Unfortunately there wasn't enough run support for Hellickson to win Wednesday, but it was his third straight start allowing just one earned run. That's a nice rebound after yielding 14 runs in the previous 19 frames. He is 6-6 with a 3.92 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 93 strikeouts in 105.2 innings this season.

Hellickson (back) (6-6) gave up five hits, an earned run and a walk over six innings in Friday's 4-3 victory over the Royals. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old now has three straight quality starts, and has given up two earned runs over his last 12 innings. He stymied one of the tougher lineups in the Royals, inducing 16 swinging strikes along the way. Hellickson now has two consecutive victories, and has lowered his ERA in three consecutive trips to the mound. He'll try to keep the momentum going next Wednesday versus the Braves.

EDGE Analysis
Hellickson gave up all three runs in the first inning, led by a two-run home run by Jake Lamb. He was then able to settle in, throwing six straight scoreless innings while striking out six and walking none. Hellickson had success getting ahead of hitters, throwing 22 first-pitch strikes to the 26 Arizona hitters he faced. Hellickson holds a 4.41 ERA on the season heading into his next start at San Francisco on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis
Hellickson's ERA has risen from 3.80 to 4.46 over his last three starts. He has walked nine batters in those three games and he has allowed five home runs over that same stretch. He'll try to turn things around in his next start at home against the Diamondbacks.
