Junis (6-8) allowed three walks and two hits while striking out seven across six scoreless innings to earn the win Saturday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Junis held the Indians offense in check throughout his six innings of work, allowing only two runners to reach scoring position. He retired 13 consecutive batters spanning from the second to sixth innings, recording six outs via strikeout. Junis has now put together three consecutive strong efforts, allowing only three earned runs across 20 innings and whiffing 23 batters in the process. He'll look to keep the strong results in his next outing, currently scheduled for Friday against Cleveland.

Junis (5-8) struck out 10 and gave up one run on five hits and two walks through seven innings to take the win over the White Sox on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Junis generated 20 swinging strikes, 15 on his slider, in the dominant performance that led to a new career-high with 10 strikeouts. The right-hander has a 1.93 ERA with a 16:4 K:BB in his last two starts and could be beginning to turn the corner. Junis had a 3.35 ERA in the second half last season and could be on his way to similar results this year. Junis will make his next start Saturday against the Indians at Progressive Field.

Junis allowed two runs on five hits with two walks and six strikeouts across seven innings during a no-decision against the Nationals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
This was one of Junis' best starts of the year, but the Royals needed a two-run rally in the eighth to help him avoid a loss. While he didn't take the defeat, Junis hasn't captured a win since May 30. He is 4-8 with a 5.33 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 98 strikeouts in 106.1 innings this year.

Junis (4-8) took the loss Tuesday, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on six hits and two walks over 4.2 innings while striking out four as the Royals were toppled 9-5 by Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander did manage to keep the ball in the park -- just the fourth time in his last 11 starts he hasn't served up a homer -- but that was about the only silver lining in this one for Junis. He'll take a 5.53 ERA and 92:36 K:BB through 99.1 innings into his final outing before the All-Star break, on the road Sunday against the Nationals.

Junis (4-7) took the loss Wednesday, giving up four runs on nine hits and a walk over six innings while striking out four as the Royals fell 5-3 to Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
Homers were once again an issue for Junis, as he was taken deep by Jake Bauers and Tyler Naquin in the fourth inning for solo shots that proved to be the difference in the game. The right-hander will carry a 5.23 ERA and 88:34 K:BB through 94.2 innings into his next start Tuesday -- a home rematch against Cleveland.

Junis struck out eight but didn't factor into the decision in an 8-7 loss to the Twins on Friday, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander was denied his fifth win of the season by a late bullpen meltdown, but Junis still came through with a strong effort, tying his season high in strikeouts. Four of his six quality starts on the season have come in his last six trips to the mound, and he's posted a respectable 4.32 ERA and 37:12 K:BB over 33.1 innings during that stretch. Junis will look to keep rolling into his next outing Wednesday in Cleveland.

Junis yielded two runs on five hits and three walks across 3.2 innings Sunday, striking out five and taking the no-decision in the win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Junis narrowly escaped the first inning unscathed after loading up the bases. He later gave up a solo shot to Miguel Sano and an RBI single to Max Kepler in the fourth that ended his afternoon. Junis was very inefficient, needing 92 pitches despite the short start. He'll carry an unsightly 5.33 ERA into a rematch with the Twins at home on Friday.

Junis didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Tigers, allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander served up a pair of solo homers -- the fifth time in his last 10 starts he's been taken deep more than once -- but Junis otherwise kept Detroit's bats in check en route to his fifth quality start of the season. He'll carry a 5.35 ERA and 71:28 K:BB through 79 innings into his next outing Sunday in Minnesota.

Junis (4-6) gave up six runs (five earned) on eight hits and three walks while striking out five through 4.2 innings to take the loss against the Red Sox on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Junis gave up two runs in the first inning and seemed to get out of trouble until he allowed four more runs to score in the top of the fifth inning. The right-hander continues to struggle with the free passes, allowing a 3.5 BB/9 this season. He has a 4-6 record with a 5.63 ERA through 13 starts. Junis (4-5) earned the win Thursday by holding the Rangers to two runs on four hits and two walks while punching out seven through six innings of work.
EDGE Analysis
Junis logged his second straight quality start with the help of seven strikeouts to pick up his first win since May 1. The right-hander looked sharp against the Rangers, highlighting his solid-strikeout effort by fanning three batters in the second inning. Otherwise, his only major blemishes were home runs to Shin-Soo-Choo and Nomar Mazara. The 26-year-old will carry a 5.35 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 48:42 K:BB into a tough matchup against the Red Sox on Tuesday.
