McGee may not be available Wednesday after tossing two innings (35 pitches) in Tuesday's 8-6 loss to the Tigers. McGee scattered three hits and a walk but struck out three batters to keep the Tigers off the board. The 35 pitches were a season-high for McGee, besting his previous total of 32 that came just three days earlier. If a save situation arises Wednesday, look for either Brad Boxberger or Kirby Yates to get the nod.

McGee has taken the mound just four times in August, holding the opposition scoreless in four innings. While he hasn't received a save chance since July 28, he's aided owners with seven strikeouts during that span.
