Barrett was sent down to Double-A Mobile on Monday, Zach Buchanan of the Arizona Republic reports. Barrett struggled at Triple-A Reno in the Pacific Coast League this season as he sported a 5.09 ERA over 23 innings. He walked 12 batters and allowed 13 earned runs, along with 27 hits. Barrett will be replaced at Triple-A by right hander Seth Simmons.
