Nova (9-9) picked up the win against the Twins on Monday, giving up two earned runs on 10 hits over 5.1 innings, striking out two and walking one as the White Sox prevailed 6-4.
EDGE Analysis
He had to work out of trouble a lot thanks to the 10 hits, but the right-hander managed to limit the damage and emerge with his ninth win of the season. Nova has been on a roll of late, as he's now remarkably yielded just four earned runs over his last 44.1 innings, bringing his ERA down from 5.49 to 4.47 over that stretch. He'll have his next chance to keep it going in a Saturday home matchup against the Rangers.

Nova (8-9) picked up the win in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Astros, allowing only one unearned run on four hits over nine innings while striking out three in a 4-1 victory.
EDGE Analysis
A Tim Anderson error in the third inning was the only thing standing between Nova and the fourth shutout of his career. The right-hander does have two complete games in his last five starts, and he's produced a remarkable 0.49 ERA and 0.70 WHIP over that stretch -- as well as a 4-0 record -- despite a minuscule 4.1 K/9. Nova will try to keep things rolling in his next outing Monday in Minnesota.

Nova (7-9) allowed five hits and three walks while striking out one across eight scoreless innings to earn the win Wednesday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Nova wasn't particularly dominant but held the Tigers scoreless on the strength of 13 groundball outs. While he still has a 4.80 ERA and 1.41 WHIP on the season, Nova has now allowed one or fewer earned runs in each of his last four starts -- totaling two earned runs across 28 innings. While impressive, he's racked up just 14 punchouts in that span. He'll look to keep his strong run going in his next start in a tough matchup against Houston on Tuesday.

Nova allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings Friday night against the Phillies. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Nova surrendered a solo home run in the third inning, though it would be the only run he'd surrender in his outing. The 32-year-old right-hander has yielded just one run in each of his last three outings, and he owns a 5.10 ERA with 85 strikeouts across 130.2 innings this season.

Nova (6-9) picked up the win in Saturday's 5-1 victory over the Twins, allowing one unearned run on two hits and a walk over six innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy GMs who rolled the dice on Nova this week as a streaming option were amply rewarded, as including Monday's complete game against the Marlins, the right-hander went 2-0 with a 0.60 ERA, 0.47 WHIP and 9:1 K:BB in 15 innings. Nova will look to keep his momentum going in his next outing Friday in Philadelphia.

Nova (5-9) gave up one run on four hits and no walks while striking out five in a complete game to take the win over the Marlins on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
It only took Nova 112 pitches to deliver a stellar performance, shutting down the Marlins in his first complete game this season. This was a surprising outing as the 32-year-old has a 5.49 ERA with a 5.8 K/9 and a 2.3 BB/9 through 21 starts this season. Nova will make his next start Saturday against the Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Nova (4-9) was charged with the loss Wednesday against the Royals after surrendering six runs on six hits and five walks and recording two strikeouts over 4.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Nova got off to a messy start by giving up a pair of runs on four hits and a walk in the first inning. The 32-year-old settled down until his fifth and final frame, when he allowed three straight two-out walks and a two-run single to Jorge Soler to hand the Royals a 5-0 lead. Nova was pulled after 84 pitches and replaced by Jace Fry, who surrendered the final run charged to Nova on a single by Soler. It was an atypical outing for Nova, who issued a season-high five walks. The right-hander has walked more than two batters just four times in 20 starts this year and owns a 5.86 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 72:31 K:BB. He'll look to bounce back during a home matchup against Miami on Monday.

Nova (4-8) took the loss Friday, allowing four runs on 10 hits in six innings. He struck out four in the 5-1 loss to the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Nova gave up three homers in the contest, while the White Sox didn't get on the board until the ninth inning. Nova's at a 5.60 ERA and 1.54 WHIP through 106 innings this year. The 32-year-old is expected to face the Royals on Wednesday, which is a matchup that could help get the right-hander back in the win column.

Nova (4-7) allowed five hits and a walk in 5.2 innings of shutout baseball Sunday, striking out four and earning the win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
It was Nova's first scoreless outing of the season and he really needed it. The 32-year-old dropped his ERA from 5.92 to 5.58 in 100 innings this season. He allowed a double and a walk in the sixth inning before being removed with 95 pitches. Nova will take on the Royals in Kansas City next Tuesday after the All-Star break.

Nova is scheduled to make his next start Sunday against the Cubs at home.
EDGE Analysis
After the White Sox's series opener with the Tigers was rained out Tuesday, Nova was initially pushed back to start the series finale Thursday. Manager Rick Renteria ultimately decided to alter the team's pitching schedule, instead turning to Reynaldo Lopez for Thursday's outing while Nova was handed the nod for Chicago's final game before the All-Star break. Nova has failed to turn in a quality start in any of his last seven outings but has at least averted disaster each time out, working at least five innings and giving up no more than four earned runs.
