Kim signed a four-year, $10.58 million deal to return to Korea and play for the LG Twins of the KBO, Sports Seoul reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old outfielder was 20 percent better than league average (120 wRC+) in 346 plate appearances, almost exclusively against righties, in 2016 with the Orioles. However, he was much, much worse (61 wRC+) in 239 plate appearances split between the Orioles and Phillies last season. Given the length of the deal, he can be forgotten in almost all dynasty formats.

Kim started in left field Tuesday and went 2-for-5 with a run scored in a 9-1 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Kim has started four straight games, but his playing time is going to dry up soon with Aaron Altherr (hamstring) aiming to return this week. The 29-year-old has hit .236/.304/.306 since coming over to the Phillies as part of the Jeremy Hellickson trade.

Kim went 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Kim has started three straight games with the DH available and due to missed time from a couple of the Phillies' regular outfielders. His playing time should start to dry up with the Phillies' outfield back to full health and with the team going back to National League play Friday.

GM Matt Klentak said Kim will likely be used as a bench player, Gordie Jones of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kim is a free agent after the season, so the Phillies have little to gain by giving him at-bats at the expense of their young outfielders. Odubel Herrera, Aaron Altherr and Nick Williams should start in the outfield most nights moving forward unless the Phillies opt to add one more of their young outfielders to the mix. Kim will have his playing time sprinkled in to give the other players an occasional day off.

Kim was traded to the Phillies, along with minor-leaguer Garrett Cleavinger and international signing bonus slots, for Jeremy Hellickson and cash considerations Friday, Jon Heyman of FanRagSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old has shown flashes of productiveness over the past two seasons with the Orioles, but could never really break through for an major role in left field, ultimately being phased out in favor of Trey Mancini. Nonetheless, with Howie Kendrick traded by Philadelphia in a separate move Friday, Kim may get a legitimate shot at an everyday starting role prior to becoming an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The lefty is slashing just .2332/.305/.288 with a -0.4 WAR through 56 games, so he'll need to show some improvement before becoming fantasy-worthy.

Kim is not in Saturday's lineup against Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Joey Rickard will get his first start of the series with left-hander Aldaberto Mejia on the hill. Kim has struggled of late, managing just five hits over his last 33 at-bats (.152) while striking out 12 times dating back to June 17.

Kim is not in Saturday's lineup against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the third straight game that Kim will ride the bench while Joey Rickard gets the start in left. Kim earned an at-bat during Friday's game, but struck out when he came in to pinch hit. Although Kim has been struggling at the plate, in the past he would typically start against right-handed pitching. With Jake Odorizzi (a right-hander) on the mound Saturday for Tampa Bay, the Orioles appear to be riding Rickard's hot bat instead.

Kim is not in the lineup Friday against the Friday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Kim is just 2-for-20 (.100) at the plate over his last eight games, so he'll get a second straight day off as he looks to clear his head. Joey Rickard will start in right field in his place.

Kim is not in Thursday's lineup against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
With southpaw J.A. Happ on the mound for Toronto, Kim will get the day off in favor of Joey Rickard. Since June 18, Kim has only recorded two hits in 20 at-bats, but has steadily been the starting left fielder for Baltimore this season. Expect him to be back in the lineup Friday against right-hander Jacob Faria and the Rays.

Kim is not in the Orioles' lineup Thursday against the White Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Joey Rickard will lead off for the O's against White Sox left-hander David Holmberg, who's been surprisingly effective against left-handed bats. Despite a clearer avenue to playing time with Chris Davis (oblique) on the 10-day disbaled list and Trey Mancini sliding from left field to first base, Kim will be stuck in this particular arrangement until Davis returns, likely sometime in July. It's tough to get excited about Kim in mixed leagues unless he can be deployed as a head-to-head matchup play vs. righties in deeper formats with daily transactions.
