With the strained glute muscle presenting no issues for Ryu during a bullpen session Wednesday, the training staff has signed off on the lefty returning Sunday when first eligible. Ryu will face a Padres team in his first start back that he's held to one run on nine hits over 19 innings (three starts) this season.

Ryu will take Kevin Correia's turn in the rotation if assuming he passes all the tests thrown at him Friday.
