Ryu (1-4) allowed one run on three hits while walking three and striking out nine over 5.1 innings in Sunday's 5-3 win over Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
It was the left-hander's first victory in the big leagues since August of 2014 after he made just one start last season due to elbow issues. After three rough starts to begin the 2017 season, Ryu has now tossed back-to-back respectable outings and has fanned 29 hitters in 26.2 innings. Don't shy away from streaming the lefty in favorable matchups in deep mixed leagues.

Ryu is slated to start Sunday for the Dodgers against the Phillies, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw carries a 4.64 ERA over his first four starts but made progress Monday, holding the Giants to one run over six innings. As Ryu extends how deep he can go into games, we could see more of the form that excited us during 2013 and 2014. Deep-league fantasy players shouldn't hesitate to start him against Philly.

Ryu (0-4) allowed a single run on five hits and a walk while striking out three batters during Monday's loss to San Francisco.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old lefty started just one game in 2016, so it wasn't surprising that he struggled through his first three outings. Monday's showing was definitely a step in the right direction, though. Ryu posted a 3.17 ERA (2.97 FIP) and 1.20 WHIP with 293 strikeouts through 344 innings over his first two seasons in the league, so he has potential to be a serviceable fantasy asset. He'll look to pick up his first win of the season against the Phillies on his next trip to the hill.

Ryu (0-3) allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk across six innings in Tuesday's loss to the Rockies. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu showed good command and had his strikeout stuff working, but he fell victim to the long ball in this one, including a two-run homer by Nolan Arenado in the first, a solo blast by Trevor Story in the fourth and another by Arenado in the fifth. While the lefty took his third straight loss to start the season, he did log more innings than he had in either of his previous two and set a season high in punchouts. Ryu has allowed six homers through just 15.1 innings en route to a 5.87 ERA, but his 17:4 K:BB indicates that better things could be on the way if he can limit the big hits. He will try to do just that Monday against the Giants.

Ryu (0-2) surrendered four runs on six hits and two walks while striking oujt five batters over 4.2 innings during Thursday's loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu's ERA climbed to 5.79 after Thursday's outing, and while his 10 punchouts through 9.1 innings are helpful, it hasn't been a promising start. Additionally, he made just a single start in 2016, so his smoke-and-mirrors pitch arsenal might need more time to round into form. At this stage of the game, he's a risky start in all fantasy settings. However, the 30-year-old lefty has upside and could turn things around quickly.

Ryu (0-1) allowed two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over 4.2 innings to take the loss Friday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu certainly didn't have a terrible outing given the fact he was on the hill at Coors Field, but the Dodgers were only able to muster a single run of offense, leaving him on the hook for the loss. He'll continue to be a strong fantasy option, as he boasts a 3.28 ERA to go along with the 1.21 WHIP over his young career. The fact he wasn't extremely sharp while pitching in Colorado does nothing to change his overall fantasy value. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Cubs.

Ryu will start Friday for the Dodgers at the Rockies, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander gets his first outing of the year as the Dodgers' No. 5 starter. Of course, Ryu will have to dodge the hitter-friendly atmosphere of Coors Field, so he may only be of much use in NL-only fantasy games.

Ryu will start the Dodgers' fifth game of the season, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This was reported earlier in the week, but manager Dave Roberts confirmed Wednesday that Ryu will start against the Rockies in the fifth game of the season. He had been hampered by injury this spring, putting his status for Opening Day in question, but now that he finally appears to be healthy, the 30-year-old will look to regain his form from 2013 and 2014 (combined 28-15, 3.17 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 56 starts).

Ryu has earned a spot in the Dodgers' rotation to open the season, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ryu's early spring was hampered by injury, which put his status to open the season -- whether he would play at all, whether he would start the year in the bullpen -- in doubt. However, manager Dave Roberts expressed his confidence in Ryu's ability and health, as they hope he can repeat his efforts from 2013 and 2014 (combined 28-15, 3.17 ERA, 1.198 WHIP over 56 starts).

Ryu does not project to be a part of the Dodgers' rotation to start the season, the Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett reports.
EDGE Analysis
It seems that Brandon McCarthy and Alex Wood are in a better position to break camp in the rotation, in large part because Ryu has only logged five innings this spring training after groin and elbow issues delayed his Cactus League debut. Ryu gave up one run on three hits and a walk while striking out four in his last spring start against the Cubs, and he takes the mound Tuesday against the Brewers for his third Cactus League start. The Dodgers undoubtedly plan to integrate Ryu into the rotation at some point this season, presuming he holds up physically, but he could be held back in extended spring training or be placed on the disabled list to start the season.
