Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports that the Rockies are expected to shop Huston Street over the offseason.
It's not a surprise, as bullpen depth is one of the team's strengths and Street is set to make $7.5 million in 2012 after losing his closer gig this season. Renck writes that the Rockies "remain open-minded" about keeping Rafael Betancourt in the closer role next year, and it sounds like they could do so even if Street is retained. As far as the rest of this season goes, Street might not appear again due to a groin injury that has been bothering him lately and was also an issue earlier this year.

Huston Street took a blown save and a loss after giving up four runs -- two earned -- in one-third of an inning Saturday.
They were the first two earned runs Street has allowed in nine appearances since coming off the DL. Although he had been effective previously, the Rockies had him working the eighth tonight, and it looks like manager Jim Tracy will be content to let Rafael Betancourt spend the rest of the season as the closer.

Rockies activated RHP Huston Street from the 15-day disabled list.
Street missed a little over two weeks with a mild right triceps strain. He returns to a 4.06 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 49/8 K/BB ratio, and should have no trouble reclaiming Colorado's ninth inning role within a few days.

Huston Street (biceps) threw a perfect inning Monday in his rehab debut with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Street retired all three batters he faced and reported no lingering pain or discomfort in his throwing arm. The right-hander will make another minor league rehab appearance Wednesday and should return to the big league bullpen by the end of this week.

Huston Street (biceps) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs Monday.
He'll make an appearances there on Wednesday, as well, so evidently he will not be activated from the disabled list that day as originally thought. He should be ready to regain his closer role by the end of next week, though.

Huston Street (biceps) is expected to be ready for activation from the disabled list on August 24, the first day he's eligible.
Not surprising, considering Street didn't think he needed to go on the DL to begin with. The closer will throw a bullpen session Saturday and, barring any setbacks, should be ready to resume his ninth inning role by the middle of next week.

Huston Street (biceps) played catch before Tuesday's game.
Though he didn't offer a timetable for his closer's return, Rockies manager Jim Tracy said Street is progressing well. The biceps strain he's dealing with is considered minor, so we would expect him back on or around August 24, the first day he's eligible.

Rockies placed RHP Huston Street on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to August 9, with a mild right triceps strain.
As expected. Street is convinced that it is a minor injury, but the Rockies want to give him the proper time to heal. Rafael Betancourt immediately becomes the favorite for saves in his absence, though young left-hander Rex Brothers could be an interesting dark horse.

The Rockies are expected to place Huston Street (triceps) on the disabled list.
Street hasn't pitched since Sunday due to right triceps soreness. The Rockies haven't made an official roster move yet, but it would be a good idea to pick up Rafael Betancourt if he is still available in your league.

The Denver Post's Troy Renck believes Huston Street could soon be heading to the disabled list if his sore triceps doesn't show improvement.
Street has been sidelined since Sunday, and his absence is starting to handcuff the Rockies bullpen. He's unlikely to be placed on the disabled list before the weekend, but have Rafael Betancourt at the ready if you are an owner.
