Rockies placed RHP Huston Street on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to August 9, with a mild right triceps strain. As expected. Street is convinced that it is a minor injury, but the Rockies want to give him the proper time to heal. Rafael Betancourt immediately becomes the favorite for saves in his absence, though young left-hander Rex Brothers could be an interesting dark horse.
