Huston Street worked around a leadoff single in the ninth inning to convert his 22nd save and close out Monday's 1-0 win over the Reds. Street needed only 10 pitches to finish off Cincinnati. He's thrown just 37 pitches in hurling four straight shutout innings, all saves. The 30-year-old closer ranks fifth in the National League in saves and boasts an amazing 0.90 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 32/7 K/BB rate over 30 frames. With a bevy of contenders slobbering over San Diego's bullpen, there's a decent chance that both Huston Street and Joaquin Benoit will be traded in the next 31 days.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Padres are receiving trade interest in Huston Street and Joaquin Benoit. It's no surprise, of course, as the Padres will be sellers, teams are always looking for bullpen help and both Street (0.96 ERA) and Benoit (1.42 ERA) are having great years. They also both have relatively reasonable contracts, with Street making $7 million this season (with a $7 million club option for 2015) and Benoit making $6 million this season and $8.5 million in 2015 (with an $8 million club option for 2016). Heyman lists the Tigers, Angels, Blue Jays, Orioles, Brewers and Marlins among contending teams thought to be interested in added relief help.

Huston Street worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning to convert his 19th save of the season in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Mariners. He also struck out a batter in his first save since June 4. The 30-year-old closer is having a sensational year, going 19-for-19 in save chances with a 1.00 ERA, 0.74 WHIP, and 30/7 K/BB ratio. So long as he remains healthy, Street will be one of the league's top fantasy relievers. San Diego has all sorts of problems as an organization, but they aced the eighth and ninth innings with Joaquin Benoit and Street.
