Hiroki Kuroda allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks in six innings of work Wednesday, improving to 13-10 in New York's 6-4 win over the Rays. Kuroda didn't have his best stuff this evening, but got picked up by his offense. He struck out three, and served up a solo home run to Luke Scott. The non-quality start was Kuroda's second straight, but just his third since the All-Star break. He'll bring a 3.14 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 138/42 K/BB ratio into his Tuesday tilt with the Red Sox in Boston.

Hiroki Kuroda limited the Red Sox to one run and four hits in eight innings to win Sunday night. Kuroda went without walking a batter tonight. He's issued a total of eight walks in his last 10 starts. It was the first time in four career starts that Kuroda managed to beat Boston. He had been 0-0 with a 5.27 ERA in two starts against them this year, and he took a loss in his lone start versus the Red Sox while with the Dodgers.

Hiroki Kuroda allowed just one run over 6 1/3 innings in a tough-luck loss to the Mariners on Saturday. Kuroda scattered seven hits while striking out four and walking one. The only run scored on an RBI single by Mike Carp in the top of the second inning. While he suffered the loss, Kuroda has now allowed two runs or less in four straight starts. He'll carry a solid 3.19 ERA into a start against the Tigers next week in Detroit.

Hiroki Kuroda struggled in a no-decision against the Angels on Friday, surrendering five runs on eight hits in 7 1/3 innings. Kuroda struck out six while walking just one in the game. Most of the damage came courtesy of the longball, with Erick Aybar blasting a solo homer in the first inning and Mark Trumbo hammered a three-run shot in the seventh. Still, Kuroda has been one of the best pitchers in the Yankee rotation all season, and will take an 8-8 record and 3.67 ERA into his next start against the Blue Jays at home on Wednesday.

Hiroki Kuroda spun seven shutout frames in Saturday's 4-0 win over the White Sox. Kuroda tied a career-high with 11 strikeouts. He allowed just three hits (all of them singles) and one walk and retired 15 in a row at one point. The veteran right-hander has an outstanding 1.99 ERA over his last eight starts and a 3.17 ERA overall. Some thought there would be a drop off with the league switch, but we haven't seen it.

Hiroki Kuroda (foot) said Saturday that he will make his next scheduled start against the Braves on Wednesday. Kuroda suffered a left foot contusion when he was struck by a line drive off the bat of Daniel Murphy in Friday's victory over the Mets. He needed crutches when leaving Yankee Stadium, but apparently it's not an injury of great severity. He should remain active in all fantasy lineups next week.
