Ramos has recorded six hits in nine at-bats over his past two games at Low-A Augusta.
EDGE Analysis
After going 0-for-14 in his preceding four games, Ramos has seemingly moved past the offensive drought in swift fashion with back-to-back multi-hit efforts. For the season, the outfielder is hitting .242/.317/.379 and has been caught stealing on six of his seven attempts this season. While the numbers aren't impressive on the surface, the fact that the 18-year-old Ramos is well below the median age for the South Atlantic League shouldn't be overlooked. Due to his sturdy 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame and excellent bat speed, Ramos projects to be a plus-power source and is viewed as the top prospect in the San Francisco system.

Ramos will open the year with Low-A Augusta, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as no surprise, as Ramos notched a 175 wRC+ in the AZL last year after getting drafted by the Giants with the No. 19 overall pick. Ramos' surface numbers were excellent, but his .500 BABIP and 31.8 percent strikeout rate suggest that some regression is coming. Don't panic if he struggles initially against full-season pitching, as he does not turn 19 until Sept. 7 and is oozing with fantasy-relevant tools.

Ramos was diagnosed with a concussion Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos -- who was selected by the Giants with the 19th pick of the 2017 draft -- has been tearing the cover off the ball with the club's Rookie-level affiliate this season. In his first 35 games, the impressive 17-year-old is hitting .348 with six homers and 10 stolen bases. He'll unfortunately have to be sidelined for the time being, as he is dealing with a concussion after being hit by a pitch in the head during Sunday's game.
