San Francisco optioned Ramos to Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was one of two outfielders sent to the minors Wednesday, with Stuart Fairchild also being optioned to Triple-A. Following his call-up from Sacramento on Tuesday, Ramos drew the start in right field in the Giants' 7-4 win over the Phillies and went 0-for-3 at the plate.

The Giants recalled Ramos from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos will join the Giants for the second time this season after he was previously with the big club for four days back in April. He'll likely serve as depth in the outfield until Darin Ruf (personal) is ready to rejoin the team after being placed on the bereavement list Tuesday in a corresponding move.

Ramos was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento following Wednesday's win against the Padres, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos went 2-for-3 with a run scored in his major-league debut Sunday, but he'll now head back to the minors after coming off the bench the past couple days. The Giants have plenty of options in the outfield, so it's not a major surprise the 22-year-old will go back to Triple-A to receive more regular playing time. Ramos will be a strong candidate to rejoin the big-league club later in the season when more outfield depth is needed.

Ramos isn't starting Monday's game against the Padres, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos served as a starter during his major-league debut Sunday against the Marlins and went 2-for-3 with a run and a strikeout. However, he'll get a breather in Monday's series opener while Joc Pederson, Steven Duggar and Mike Yastrzemski start in the outfield from left to right.

Ramos went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a strikeout in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos made his major-league debut Sunday, and he was the only Giant to get on base multiple times. Both of his hits were singles, and he came around to score on a Mauricio Dubon double in the second inning. Ramos, the Giants' first-round pick from 2017, could see regular time in the outfield while he's with the big club, at the expense of Steven Duggar and Joc Pederson primarily. Ramos slashed a solid .272/.323/.399 with four home runs, 30 RBI, 30 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 229 plate appearances at Triple-A Sacramento after a midseason promotion last year.

The Giants called up Ramos from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, and he'll start in left field and bat sixth against the Marlins, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos began the season at the Triple-A level and went 3-for-13 with a home run, four runs and four RBI in four games, and he'll make his major-league debut in Sunday's series finale versus Miami. LaMonte Wade (knee) is on the injured list to open the season, and Ramos could carve out a regular big-league role if he plays well early in his first taste of the majors.

Ramos is expected to be called up to the Giants' big-league roster and start Sunday against the Marlins, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
After failing to play with the team this spring before being sent down to Triple-A Sacramento on March 28, Ramos will quickly get called up to make his MLB debut Sunday. The outfielder had started three games at Triple-A this past week, collecting three hits including a homer, four RBI and four runs in 12 at-bats while walking three times as well. The 22-year-old offers the Giants another depth option in the outfield and we're yet to see what corresponding move the organization will make to call him up.

Ramos was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old didn't crack a lineup with the Giants this spring, returning to the minors Monday. In 54 games with Sacramento last season, Ramos batted .272 while hitting four homers and driving in 30 runs. Additionally, the outfielder swiped eight bags which if translated to 162 games would be 24 steals.

Ramos was added to the Giants' 40-man roster Friday.
EDGE Analysis
It was a somewhat disappointing season for Ramos, as he logged a .755 OPS at Double-A and a .722 OPS at Triple-A. Those are fine marks, but he had a chance to really show that he was a big part of the Giants' future last season and didn't quite do that. Even so, he'll be 22 next season and will be back at Triple-A, so there's still plenty of time for it all to come together for him.

The Giants promoted Ramos from Double-A Richmond to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old outfielder will move up to the highest level of the minors after he posted a .755 OPS while going 7-for-9 on stolen-base attempts across his 266 plate appearances at Richmond. Ramos' slash line didn't differ greatly from the one he posted at Richmond after being promoted to the affiliate late in 2019 (.242/.321/.421 in 106 plate appearances), but he showed an improved approach at the plate this season, cutting his strikeout rate down by nearly four percentage points. The 2017 first-round pick will likely stick around at Sacramento for the remainder of the season before potentially contending for a full-time role with the big club in 2022.
