Hernandez went 4-for-5 with a run scored in Saturday's 11-2 rout of the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Batting eighth in front of the pitcher didn't give Hernandez too many opportunities to convert his hits into fantasy production, but he was still able to boost his slash line on the season to .296/.309/.352. Expect the 30-year-old to continue seeing regular at-bats until the Giants' outfield gets healthier.

Hernandez started in left at led off Wednesday, going 1-for-5 in a 9-4 win over San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants' left field position has been decimated by injuries, allowing Hernandez to start five of the club's last six games. The 30-year-old is slashing just .250/.265/.313 this season, but he can provide the occasional run or stolen base, especially while batting leadoff against southpaws. Hernandez will retreat to the bench once either Mac Williamson (concussion) or Hunter Pence (thumb) return from the disabled list, limiting him to a short-term option in very deep formats.

Hernandez went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 10-1 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Making a surprise start after Hunter Pence (thumb) was a late scratch, Hernandez came through with his first big-league homer since Sept. 2016. If Pence's injury lingers, Hernandez could see an uptick in playing time, but Gregor Blanco would be the more likely candidate to see the bulk of the available action.

Hernandez has made the Giants' Opening Day roster, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
After spending the entire 2017 season with the big-league club, Hernandez's potential role with the 2018 team became a bit murkier following the acquisition of Andrew McCutchen coupled with the impending promotion of touted outfielder Steven Duggar. Despite the competition, Hernandez will occupy a spot on the team's Opening Day roster again this season as a reserve outfielder alongside Gregor Blanco. Hernandez started 70 games for the Giants last season but isn't expected to get anywhere near that number this time around as things currently stand.

Hernandez (wrist) is starting in center field and batting ninth in Sunday's Cactus League game against the Cubs, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez is set to take the field for the first time following his offseason procedure to repair a broken hamate bone in his wrist. The veteran outfielder's 2018 playing time outlook got a bit more foggy following the Giants' offseason acquisitions of Andrew McCutchen and Austin Jackson. Hernandez will battle for a bench role during spring camp.

Hernandez underwent a procedure to repair a broken hamate bone during the offseason, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez missed some time due to the wrist injury in September and instead of shutting it down, it appears as though he played through a fracture over the last two weeks of the year. There was no word on his current status, but it's expected that he will be ready to go by Opening Day. The 30-year-old slashed .255/.327/.326 with 22 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 128 games last season.

General manager Bobby Evans said Hernandez is looking at hamate bone surgery, Andrew Baggarly of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez missed some time with a wrist injury in September, and it appears he was dealing with a chronic issue. If he does undergo the surgery, he should have plenty of time to fully recover before the start of next season. He compiled a .255/.327/.326 line in 128 games while serving as a reserve outfielder for the Giants this season.

Hernandez led off and went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a stolen base and a pair of runs scored in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Hernandez has been in the lineup for consecutive games with the Dodgers throwing a pair of southpaws. The 30-year-old has responded well to the short burst of playing time, going 4-for-7 with three runs and a pair of steals. Expect Hernandez to receive his third straight start Sunday, albeit in a tough matchup against the dominant Clayton Kershaw.

Hernandez (wrist) drew a walk in his only plate appearance during Wednesday's win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday marked his first plate appearance since Sept. 12 due to a sprained wrist. It was thought that Hernandez would possibly miss the remainder of the season due to the ailment, but that no longer appears to be the case. He'll continue to serve as the club's fourth outfielder down the stretch, but his shaky wrist could limit his starts.

Manager Bruce Bochy reported that Hernandez (wrist) is available off the bench during Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks, Andrew Baggarly of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was recently revealed that Hernandez could miss significant time with his sprained left wrist, but Bochy's statement seems to contradict that report. With the news that he's available off the bench, it seems that Hernandez is simply a day-to-day case moving forward.
