Stanton did not end up playing the outfield as expected during this past weekend's series at Boston, but he is scheduled to log time there during the Yankees' series at Miami that begins July 30, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton was slated to see his first action in the field this season at Fenway Park, but he instead started all four games of the series at DH. The slugger now appears set to return to the field during New York's next road interleague series, which will take place in Miami -- where Stanton spent the first eight seasons of his big-league career -- beginning this Friday. That news is certainly a positive for fantasy managers who roster the veteran, since he would otherwise be limited to pinch-hitting duties in the National League park.

Stanton could start in left field Saturday against the Red Sox, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton has been in the lineup exclusively as the designated hitter for each of the last two seasons. Interestingly, his return to the outfield could come in an American League park, where the team still has the benefit of a designated hitter. Instead, manager Aaron Boone suggested the decision to play Stanton in the outfield for the first time since Game 1 of the 2019 ALCS could come due to the fact that there is less ground to cover in left field at Fenway Park.

Stanton went 2-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday's win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton ended a three-game hitless streak with a single in the fifth inning, then he snapped an eight-game homer drought with a seventh-inning blast off reliever Brandon Kintzler. The slugger now has 16 dingers on the year, but he's still hitting just .224 with a meager .671 OPS across 52 plate appearances this month.

Stanton is slated to play the outfield as soon as next weekend, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton has played exclusively as designated hitter this season, slashing .263/.356/.471 with 15 home runs and 42 RBI through 298 plate appearances. However, he has plenty of experience in the outfield, having played right field -- and, to a lesser extent, left field -- during the first 10 seasons of his career. It's not yet clear how frequently Stanton will play the field, and much could depend on how soon the bevy of injured Yankees outfielders -- including Aaron Judge (COVID-19), Clint Frazier (illness), Miguel Andujar (wrist) and Trey Amburgey (hamstring) -- are able to return.

Stanton went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and a walk in Tuesday's 12-1 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton set the tone early with a 434-foot rocket to left field in the first to get the Yankees on the board. He also singled in the ninth to cap off a multi-hit performance. The long ball was his 15th of the season and his first since June 28. Overall, the 31-year-old is slashing .270/.367/.494 with 22 extra-base hits, 42 RBI, 29 runs scored and a 35:74 BB:K over 270 plate appearances.

Stanton went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a loss to the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
With the Yankees trailing by two runs in the sixth inning of the contest, Stanton belted a 426-foot solo shot off Jose Suarez to pull New York within a run. The long ball was his 14th of the season but first since June 17. The slugger is slashing .286/.407/.514 with five homers, 14 RBI and a 15:21 BB:K through 22 games this month.

Stanton went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Thursday's 8-1 win over Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton didn't belt any extra-base hits in the contest, but he did collect an RBI on a single in the eighth inning. The multi-hit game was his 14th this season and third in his past seven games. Over that stretch, Stanton is batting .364 with a homer, four RBI and nine walks.

Stanton went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and another run scored during Thursday's win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton regained the lead for the Yankees by taking Anthony Castro deep in the seventh inning. The long ball, which carried an exit velocity of 104 mph, was Stanton's 13th homer of the season and the 325th of his career. Overall this year, the 31-year-old is slugging .265/.337/.519 as he works to gain a role in the outfield.

Stanton is building up physically to play in the outfield, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The slugger expects to be fit for such a role by early July, citing his desire to play in the Yankees' games in Miami at the end of that month. Although he's recovered from his May quad injury, Stanton still faced enough limitations to be held out of the weekend's games in Philadelphia.

Stanton won't start in the outfield during the series in Philadelphia this weekend, Pete Caldera of USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stanton returned from a quad injury May 28 and the Yankees have continued to be cautious with the slugger. Part of that plan has been limiting Stanton to DH duty for now, and that will continue during the series in the National League park over the weekend. The 31-year-old will surely get some at-bats off the bench against the Phillies, however.
