Cabrera (3-3) took the loss against the Brewers on Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks with five strikeouts over seven innings.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera's only blemish was a two-run homer by Jackson Chourio in the third inning, as he completed seven frames for the second straight outing. The 27-year-old extended an impressive run, having now allowed three earned runs or fewer in 11 consecutive starts dating back to May 4. He'll carry a 3.33 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 80:30 K:BB across 78.1 innings into a road matchup with the Orioles next weekend.

Cabrera (3-2) allowed two hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings Tuesday, striking out six and earning a win over Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera gave up one extra-base hit and let only two runners reach scoring position during his impressive outing Tuesday. It was his third scoreless outing of the year and his first time completing at least seven frames. He tossed 58 of 93 pitches for strikes and forced 14 whiffs, including six each with his changeup and slider. Cabrera owns a 3.41 ERA with a 75:30 K:BB across 71.1 frames. He's produced a stellar 2.05 ERA in 52.2 innings since the start of May. Cabrera's next outing is lined up to be at home against the Brewers this weekend.

Cabrera allowed two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out six batters over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against San Francisco on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera served up a solo homer to the first batter he faced, but he was relatively good after that, yielding just one more run over the remainder of his outing. The right-hander tossed 54 of 90 pitches for strikes and notched a healthy six punchouts -- breaking a streak of four straight outings with exactly five strikeouts -- but didn't get enough run support while he was in the game to get the win. Cabrera hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in any of his past six starts, and he's posted a 1.80 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 36:15 K:BB over 30 frames during that stretch.

Cabrera didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Phillies, giving up one run on two hits and three walks in 6.1 innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The hard-throwing right-hander tallied 14 swinging strikes on the evening, and he fanned at least five in his sixth straight start. Cabrera tends to struggle with his control and efficiency, as he threw just 47 of his 82 pitches for strikes Thursday, so it was also encouraging to see him toss at least six frames for the first time in 12 outings this year. Cabrera holds a 3.81 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 63:26 K:BB over 59 innings in 2025, and his next appearance is slated for next week against the Giants in San Francisco.

Cabrera did not factor into Friday's decision against the Nationals, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks while striking out five across three innings.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera struck out five of the first seven batters he faced, but he appeared to tweak his ankle on first base in the third inning after colliding with Eric Wagaman. Cabrera was able to stay in the game, but he gave up a two-run home run to James Wood on the next at-bat and did not come out for the fourth despite tossing only 64 pitches (38 strikes). The Marlins didn't announce an injury, and assuming he's given the green light, Cabrera is slated to make his next start against the Phillies at home next week.

Cabrera (2-2) took the loss Friday as the Marlins were downed 4-3 by the Rays, giving up three runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander got lifted after only 63 pitches (41 strikes), his smallest workload of the season. While the early hook was unusual, Cabrera's inefficiency remains the biggest obstacle to a true breakout as he has yet to complete six innings in any of his 10 trips to the mound. He'll take a 3.99 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 53:21 K:BB through 49.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next weekend against the Nationals.

Cabrera (2-1) earned the win over San Francisco on Saturday, allowing six hits and issuing three walks while striking out five batters over 5.2 scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Though Cabrera allowed 10 baserunners (including one who reached on an error), none of the hits against him went for extra bases. The right-hander was pulled after issuing a two-out walk followed by a single in the sixth inning to prevent him from notching a quality start, but this was another promising May outing after Cabrera struggled mightily in April. He finished that month with a 7.23 ERA over four starts, but he's since brought that number down to a tolerable 4.14 by allowing three or fewer runs in five straight appearances. Cabrera has been especially effective in his past two starts, tossing 11.1 scoreless frames while compiling a 15:5 K:BB. He'll look to remain on a roll in his next start, which lines up to be a road matchup against Tampa Bay.

Cabrera (1-1) earned the win Sunday against the Angels, allowing three hits and two walks over 5.2 scoreless innings. He struck out 10.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old generated 18 whiffs en route to a season-high 10 punchouts, reaching double-digit Ks for the first time since April 15, 2024. Cabrera has been especially sharp over his last four appearances, as he's limited free passes while working to a 2.61 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB across 20.2 innings. Through 40 total innings, the Miami right-hander sports a 4.72 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 43:16 K:BB. Cabrera is currently slated to make his next start against the Giants at home next weekend.

Cabrera did not factor into the decision in Monday's 8-7 win over the Cubs, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The Miami right-hander returned from a nail injury to make his first start since May 10. Cabrera showed no ill effects of the injury and generated a solid 15 whiffs out of 90 total pitches. All of the runs he conceded came on one swing of the bat when he yielded a three-run homer to Miguel Amaya in the fourth. Through 34.1 innings, Cabrera now sports a 5.50 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 33:14 K:BB. He is currently slated to make his next start at the Angels this weekend.

Cabrera (finger) will start Monday's game against the Cubs, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cabrera was originally slated to make his next start this weekend against Tampa Bay, but those plans were derailed by fluid buildup near his fingernail. His delay between starts will only be a few days, however, as manager Clayton McCullough confirmed Saturday that the right-hander will start the series opener against one of the top offenses in the majors.
