Dillon Gee yielded four runs on 10 hits over six innings in a loss to the Tigers on Sunday. Miguel Cabrera assaulted Gee with a two-run homer in the first, a shot that set the tone for an afternoon in which the Tigers would hit the right-hander hard (though, to be fair, Gee should be commended for limiting the damage to four runs on a day when he didn't have his best stuff). Gee entered the game as one of the league's best starters in August -- going 2-0 with a 1.27 ERA and 0.99 WHIP in 28 1/3 innings over four starts -- and we aren't concerned about an off-day against a nasty Tiger offense.

Dillon Gee allowed two runs on seven hits over six innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Dodgers. Gee sailed through five shutout innings but ran out of gas in the sixth, allowing two runs on three hits and a hit by pitch. The 27-year-old right-hander will carry a 3.73 ERA into his next start at Target Field in Minneapolis, a matchup that makes Gee a nice streaming option.

Dillon Gee held the Rockies to one run over 7 2/3 innings Thursday in the Mets' 2-1 victory. Gee was excellent, fanning three batters without issuing a walk and requiring only 87 pitches to navigate deep into the eighth inning. He was also steady last week against the Royals and could be a sleeper in fantasy leagues down the stretch. The 27-year-old right-hander will carry a 3.82 ERA into his next start at Dodger Stadium.

Dillon Gee surrendered one run over seven-plus innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Friday. Gee held the Royals to just three hits (all of them singles) and two walks while fanning four batters. The lone run scored after he issued a leadoff walk to begin the top of the eighth inning and was pulled from the ballgame. David Aardsma eventually blew his chance at the victory in the ninth. Gee's ERA now sits under 4.00 (3.97) for the first time since April 4.

Dillon Gee surrendered four runs in seven innings Saturday as the Mets fell to the Nationals. It was a big step back for the right-hander, who had been enjoying a fantastic July. He coughed up three home runs and six total hits while watching his ERA rise from 4.07 to 4.13. Gee will try to get back on the right track next week against the Marlins in Miami.

Dillon Gee took a no-hitter into the seventh on Monday and ended up pitching seven scoreless innings against the Braves. It didn't get him a win, but it was another fine effort from Gee. His only loss in his last 10 starts came when he allowed two runs in 8 1/3 innings against the Braves. He allowed two runs or fewer in eight of those 10 starts.

Dillon Gee allowed one run -- none earned -- in 6 2/3 innings Sunday in a win against the Pirates. He struck out two and walked a batter. Gee has earned quality starts in seven of his last nine outings. With the win, he ends the first half 7-7 to go with a 4.32 ERA and 1.44 WHIP.

Dillon Gee allowed two runs in seven innings Thursday in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks. Gee was the victim of some fluky plays, so he truly had a tough-luck day. He allowed six hits and two walks while fanning seven. His ERA has dropped from 6.34 to 4.45 over the pan of his last seven starts. He's worth using in mixed leagues next week in a matchup against the slumping Giants in San Francisco.

Dillon Gee spun six innings of one-run ball in a 5-1 win over the Nationals on Saturday. Nice to see after Gee was knocked around for six runs (five earned) over five innings last time out. He scattered six hits while walking three and fanning four. Interestingly, he's now 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA in three starts against the Nationals this season and 3-7 with a 5.55 ERA in 12 starts against everybody else. Gee has been dealing with tendinitis in his elbow for most of the season, but he's going to continue to attempt to pitch through it. He'll face the Diamondbacks next week at home.

The Mets haven't ruled out the possibility that Dillon Gee (elbow) could be placed on the disabled list. Gee has been dealing with tendinitis in his right elbow and will make his next start Sunday on two extra days of rest. "Very possible," manager Terry Collins said. "I can't say that's going to happen, but no reason to think if it continues to flare up that it wouldn't happen."
