Gordon returned to the starting lineup Wednesday against the Braves and went 2-for-5 with a stolen base. Gordon sat out Tuesday against lefty Mike Minor, but Dodgers manager Don Mattingly implied that there was more to keeping Gordon out Tuesday than his big platoon split, saying that he wanted to keep Gordon from wearing down over the last six weeks.

Gordon is out of the lineupTuesday versus the Braves. It looks to be nothing more than a scheduled day off for Gordon, who's started each of the past four games. He's 3-for-19 at the plate in that span, though he's only struck out once. Darwin Barney will start at second base and bat eighth.

Dee Gordon finished 3-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored Saturday in the Dodgers' loss to St. Louis. Gordon was the only Los Angeles player to register multiple hits in the 4-2 defeat. He stole his 44th base of the season off Joe Kelly and George Kottaras in the third inning and then scored on a Hanley Ramirez single.

Dee Gordon went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Padres. It had been seven games since Gordon stole a base, so he was due. He's now got an NL-best 43 steals at the break. The second baseman is batting .292/.344/.398 with nine triples and 52 runs scored on the year, and with Alex Guerrero nowhere to be seen, he'll continue to wreak havoc atop the Dodgers lineup in the second half.

Dee Gordon is not in the Dodgers starting lineup for Saturday's contest against the Rockies. It's merely a routine day of rest for the speedy infielder. Miguel Rojas will get the start in his place at second base and bat eighth for the Dodgers.

Dee Gordon singled three times and drove in a run Friday against the Cardinals. A better first baseman than Matt Adams could have taken away one of Gordon's hits and the RBI, Still, it was a nice night for the second baseman, who has been back on the upswing of late. He's hit in seven straight starts, raising his average from .277 to .292.

Dee Gordon had his way with the Royals on Wednesday, collecting four hits, stealing a base and scoring two runs in the Dodgers' 5-4 win. Gordon's ability to steal bases has never been in question, but his ability to hit for average has. Thus far this year he's done plenty of both -- the stolen base was his league-leading 40th, and he's hitting at a .285/.340/.405 clip. Gordon also hit his ninth triple of the year in the game. There are few more dangerous offensive players in baseball right now than the 26-year-old Gordon.

Dee Gordon had a huge game Monday night against the Rockies, going 4-for-4 with a walk, triple and two runs scored in a 6-1 victory. He was also caught stealing, but we're guessing fantasy owner will forgive him. This was Gordon's first multi-hit game since June 6 (also the date of his last stolen base); his average fell from .287 to .274 in that time. Gordon has been one of fantasy's great surprises, batting .285 with 21 RBI and 37 runs. More to the point, he's on pace for 81 steals. That type of speed can swing leagues.

Dee Gordon (hip) is back in Tuesday's lineup against the Reds. Gordon left Saturday's game with right hip discomfort and didn't start on Sunday or Monday. However, it was never a major concern, as he felt OK enough to come off the bench and deliver a single on Monday. Andre Ethier is also back in the lineup for the Dodgers.
