Duffy allowed three runs on six hits and two walks Saturday against the Twins, striking out four over eight innings.
EDGE Analysis
All three runs off Duffy came on solo homers, with Miguel Sano hitting one in the second inning and Jake Cave and C.J. Cron adding a pair in the eighth. Otherwise, Duffy's outing was a strong one, representing just the first time all season he'd lasted longer than seven innings. He was able to lower his ERA to a respectable (if not exciting) 4.48 and will look to lower it still further Friday against Toronto.

Duffy didn't factor into the decision against the Mariners on Monday, giving up four earned runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out four and walking three as the Royals eventually won 6-4.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy limited the Mariners to just one earned run through his four innings, but he was tagged for three in the fifth, forcing him to settle for a no-decision as he departed with the Royals down 4-2. The 30-year-old now carries a 4.64 ERA, a 1.40 WHIP and a 46:21 K:BB over 54.1 innings on the season.

Duffy allowed two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and two walks across seven innings during a no-decision against the Tigers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy logged a quality start against Detroit by hurling a season-best seven innings and seven strikeouts. He left the game with the score knotted at 2-2, but unfortunately Kansas City's bullpen couldn't get it done. The 30-year-old gave up two free passes in the first inning to score the first run of the game. The final damage came via another pair of doubles to score the last run against Duffy in the fifth. The southpaw stayed solid by retiring his last 11 batters and finished the outing with a respectable 99 pitches. Duffy now owns a 4.38 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 42:18 K:BB. He'll look for a win in his next matchup against the Mariners on Monday.

Duffy (3-3) allowed four earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two across 2.1 innings to take the loss Thursday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy got the quick hook Thursday, with much of the damage against him coming in his third and final frame. The big blow came on a two-run homer by Mookie Betts but he also allowed three hits to the next four batters he faced before being pulled. Duffy had put together a string of solid performances -- four of his last outings went for quality starts -- but he's gotten knocked around in consecutive efforts, allowing 10 earned runs across 7.2 innings of work. That's inflated his ratios to a 4.68 WHIP and 1.42 WHIP across 42.1 innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, currently scheduled for Wednesday at Detroit.

Duffy (3-2) surrendered six runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.1 innings in a loss to Texas on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy cruised through the first five innings of his outing before hitting a wall in the sixth, giving up six runs on four hits. The left-hander hadn't given up more than four runs in a start heading into Friday's appearance, so this looks to be nothing more than a blip on the radar for the 30-year-old. Duffy owns a 4.05 ERA with 33 strikeouts over 40 innings this season.

Duffy gave up four runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out four through six innings in a no-decision against the Yankees on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy only allowed one earned run, but the wheels came off a bit in the sixth inning after an error by Adalberto Mondesi. The left-hander went on to give up a single and a three-run home run from Gleyber Torres. The 30-year-old has been consistent, going at least five innings and allowing less than four earned runs in every start. He has a 3-1 record with a 3.12 ERA through six starts this season. Duffy will make his next start Saturday against the Rangers.

Duffy will start Sunday's game against the Yankees, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duffy was expected to draw the start Saturday, but a postponement Friday night has changed Kansas City's weekend pitching plans. Jakob Junis and Jorge Lopez will start Game 1 and 2 of Saturday's doubleheader, pushing Duffy back to Sunday.

Duffy (3-1) allowed one run on five hits with five strikeouts and three walks across six innings to earn a victory against the Angels on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old has been far from elite, but this was one of his stronger outings of the season, and he's now won three straight starts. Duffy began the season on the IL because of a shoulder injury, but in five outings, he is 3-1 with a 3.45 ERA. While he's had some trouble with walks, Duffy owns a 3.04 ERA in the last four contests. He also has a 1.40 WHIP and 23 strikeouts in 28.2 innings this year. Duffy will pitch again against the Yankees next Sunday.

Duffy (2-1) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing four runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings while striking out six in an 11-5 victory over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Texas got to the southpaw for all four runs in the third inning, but Kansas City has already spotted him a 9-0 lead by that point. Duffy will take a 3.97 ERA and 18:8 K:BB through 22.2 innings into his next start Sunday, on the road against the Angels.

Duffy (1-1) picked up the win in Tuesday's 12-2 rout of the Astros, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks over 6.2 innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw shut the Houston offense down for five innings before they managed to push a run across, but the game was already well out of reach by then. Duffy has given the Royals back-to-back quality starts, and he'll take a 3.06 ERA and 12:7 K:BB into his next outing Sunday, on the road against the Angels.
