Craig Kimbrel worked a scoreless ninth inning on Friday, protecting a two-run advantage against the White Sox and earning his 27th save of the season. He struck out three batters and walked one. Kimbrel has allowed just one run since May 8 and hasn't blown a save in the span. The stretch of dominance has lowered his ERA from 3.38 to 1.49. Kimbrel remains one of the game's elite fantasy and real-life closers.

Craig Kimbrel has allowed just one run since May 8. Kimbrel, who saved his 25th game on Thursday against the Reds, had blown three saves through May 7, but he's been perfect since. With a 1.57 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 51/12 K/BB rate, Kimbrel remains one of the game's premier fantasy closers.

Craig Kimbrel gave up his first run since May 7 and took the loss Thursday against the Marlins. Kimbrel had pitched 17 1/3 consecutive scoreless innings before giving up a run in a 3-3 game tonight. It was just the third loss he's taken in 95 appearances the last two years.

Craig Kimbrel worked a scoreless ninth inning on Friday, protecting a three-run advantage and earning his 23rd save of the season. When it comes to closers in the fantasy game, Kimbrel remains an absolutely elite option. He hasn't been scored upon in his last 17 outings dating back to May 7, and owns a stellar 1.48 ERA and 1.02 WHIP on the season to go along with 23 saves and a 43/10 K/BB ratio in 30 1/3 innings.

Craig Kimbrel hasn't allowed a run since May 7. The stretch of dominance has lowered his ERA from 3.38 to 1.85. Kimbrel allowed five earned runs over five appearances between April 24 - May 7, but hasn't surrendered a run outside of that rough patch. He's not striking out batters at the ludicrous rates of the past two seasons, but may well end up as fantasy's best closer anyway.

Craig Kimbrel hasn't allowed a run since May 7. Although the young flame-thrower hasn't been quite as effective this season as in year's past, he still owns a 2.33 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 29/4 K/BB ratio to go with 15 saves (with three blown). There isn't a closer in the National League we'd prefer over him.

Craig Kimbrel picked up an easy save Saturday as the Braves defeated the Dodgers at Turner Field. Kimbrel used only 10 pitches in all and yet still struck out two of the three batters he faced. He's had some uncharacteristic struggles this year, but they were never all that concerning. The hard-throwing right-hander might be the best reliever in baseball.

Craig Kimbrel tossed a scoreless ninth inning Thursday against the Giants for his 100th career save. Kimbrel blew saves in three out of his last five opportunities, but there wasn't much drama in this one. While the hard-throwing right-hander gave up a two-out double to Brandon Crawford, he was able to get Brandon Belt to ground out to first to end it and lock down a 6-3 victory. We're confident that his recent rough patch will turn out to be a blip.

Craig Kimbrel blew his third save of the season on Tuesday, allowing two solo home runs as the Braves fell to the Reds. The loss was Kimbrel's first of the season, but more concerning is the fact that the fireballer has now blown three of his last five save opportunities. After registering two strikeouts to start the inning, Kimbrel allowed a pinch-hit home run to Devin Mesoraco before Shin-Soo Choo hit his second home run of the night to end the game. Kimbrel has allowed three home runs on the season after allowing just three all of last year. A few chinks in the armor doesn't mean Kimbrel should lose his title as the best closer in the game, but it's at least worth watching to see if his struggles continue in the weeks ahead.

Craig Kimbrel blew his second save of the season Friday against the Mets. Kimbrel entered the top of the ninth with a one-run lead, but he gave up a game-tying homer to David Wright and the Mets eventually won it in extras. It was the first home run allowed by the hard-throwing right-hander since August 31 of last season, a span of 25 appearances. Hey, it happens. He should be fine.
