Kluber (19-7) allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks across eight innings to earn the win Tuesday against the White Sox. He struck out 11.
EDGE Analysis
Working on three extra days' rest, Kluber delivered his longest outing since August 4. He threw 70 percent of his pitches for strikes while inducing a whopping 24 swinging strikes and recording 11 groundball outs. Kluber allowed a pair of solo home runs in the sixth inning before allowing a run on two hits in the sixth, but he already had enough run support to lock down his 19th win. He will look to build on this strong outing this weekend against the Red Sox.

Kluber will be skipped this weekend as the Indians look to line him up for the postseason, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Terry Francona was adamant that Kluber is fine physically, which is reassuring after Kluber lasted only 1.2 innings Monday, allowing four runs on five hits and a walk against Tampa Bay. The team will go with Josh Tomlin, Mike Clevinger and Shane Bieber (in that order) this weekend against Detroit while Kluber figures to slot back in to face the White Sox early next week.

Kluber allowed four runs on five hits and one walk across 1.2 innings in a no-decision Monday against the Rays. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber breezed through the first inning before running into trouble in the second, when he allowed four runs on five hits, a walk and a hit batsman before his removal with two outs. Luckily, his team mounted a comeback to get him off the hook for a loss, though they ultimately fell in walk-off fashion. It was the second uncharacteristically poor start for Kluber in his last four, as he was also touched up for five runs across 5.1 innings against the Royals in late August. He still holds a strong 2.91 ERA for the season and will look to bounce back this weekend against the Tigers.

Kluber (18-7) picked up the win Wednesday against the Royals, allowing one run on two hits and one walk across 6.2 innings. He struck out 10.
EDGE Analysis
It was business as usual for Kluber, who allowed just two hits all evening while keeping the bases clear for five of the seven innings he appeared in. His 10 strikeouts were the most he's recorded in a start since May 30, and he's now now primed to surpass 200 strikeouts for a fifth consecutive season. He'll carry a shiny 2.75 ERA into his next start, which will come on the road against the Rays.

Kluber (17-7) picked up the win Friday against the Rays, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out eight across seven scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
It was a nice bounce-back effort from Kluber, who took the loss after allowing five runs across 5.1 innings his last time out. He's now registered five quality starts in six August appearances, posting a shiny 2.81 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 41:8 K:BB over that stretch (41.2 innings). Next up is a home start against the lowly Royals.

Kluber (16-7) allowed five earned runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out six across 5.1 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
This was a surprisingly poor effort from Kluber, as he allowed the subpar Royals offense to score in three separate innings. Despite the setback, Kluber remains among the American League leaders in nearly every major statistical category. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, likely to come on Friday against the Rays.

Kluber (16-6) gave up three runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out six in 6.1 innings Monday in Boston. He picked up the win.
EDGE Analysis
He is now tied with Max Scherzer and Luis Severino for the MLB lead with 16 wins. With five-plus weeks remaining, Kluber could realistically reach the 20-win mark for the first time in his career, even though his 8.6 K/9 and 3.26 FIP are his worst such marks since 2013. He lines up to start Saturday in Kansas City.

Kluber (15-6) tossed seven one-run innings Tuesday to earn the win over the Reds, allowing five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber allowed just one man past first base over the first six innings and gave up his only run on a pair of hits in the seventh. He needed an economical 96 pitches to complete seven frames and induced eight groundball outs to help stifle the home team. Kluber was touched up for four runs in his previous start, but this bounce-back performance lowered his ERA back down to a shiny 2.68 for the season. He'll face a tough matchup in his next scheduled start against the Red Sox.

Kluber allowed four runs on seven hits while striking out seven over seven innings Thursday as he didn't factor into the decision against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber cruised through four scoreless innings, but he surrendered a run in the fifth, followed by a three-run homer to Jorge Polanco in the sixth, and he'd leave with the game tied 4-4. Despite an uncharacteristic outing 32-year-old right-hander owns a 2.74 ERA and 0.92 WHIP with a 153:20 K:BB through 161 innings. He'll have a favorable matchup his next turn through the rotation, as he lines up to face Cincinnati on Tuesday.

Kluber (14-6) allowed three hits and one walk while striking out seven in a complete game shutout to earn the win Saturday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Kluber needed only 98 pitches to record his first complete game shutout of the season. Though he turned in several uncharacteristic starts that he blamed on a knee injury, it appears that Kluber is back on track after allowing only one earned run across 16.1 innings in his last two starts. His strikeout rate has taken a precipitous fall to 8.5 K/9, but he continues to post excellent ratios, carrying a 2.63 ERA and 0.92 WHIP through 154 innings.
